The question Wilbon should have asked:

Wilbon: "LeBron why did you really leave Cleveland for Miami."

LeBron: "Are you kidding me? have you seen the Brazilian chicks in those bikinis on South Beach? I am sick of chipping ice off of my Bentley's windshield. Screw that.....use my Cleveland jersey to light your fireplaces in Cleveland while I am sipping pina coladas in the sun.

I wouldn't have personally taken part in any of the bashing had Wade left. I'd have felt crushed, but I wouldn't be degrading him as a human being.

Not really. Heat fans' issue with Wade a few days ago was that he would possibly have left town over his kids, and that particular consideration came out of left field. If he had talked for a year about the necessity of being around his kids, we wouldn't have had an issue with it: it would have been a known quantity and expected.

Heat tickets are already sold out. They sold out earlier today. The only tickets left are the 500 per-game tickets. That's it.

Jay-Z, he of the future Brooklyn Nets, paid $900,000 for two courtside season tickets.

I would have been pissed if Wade split. BUT I'm one happy man now. So ya'll vent all you like. It will wear off sooner or later.

Hell, I thought I'd never, ever, EVER forgive Ricky Williams but I did.

I wouldn't get too excited about the U. I'm a Canes fan, love them until the day I die, but we still have Randy Shannon running things in the last two minutes of games.

But what if Wade had called for a prime time special to announce he was leaving Miami? That's a whole different level of classless, IMO.

Mike Holmgren has the same popularity and love for him as LBJ did? LBJ made the Cavs relevant again and most people felt the Cavs would get Cleveland it's next championship. This ripped their hearts out of getting any kind of championship anytime soon. Plus Holmgren is a FO guy not someone who's jersey you can wear and root for every night.

It'd be like Wade going to Chicago or Parcells retiring...which do you think Miami fans would take harder? LBJ was that city sports wise.

Still though LBJ made the best choice by leaving...the Cavs were going nowhere fast.

What kills me is that I'll be on the road all day tomorrow. Won't get to listen to Miami radio at all.

    Okay. Serious question.

What number do we put on the Stephen A. Smith jersey that will be hanging from the rafters at the AAA?

You've got an Android phone, right? There has to be some streaming radio app available. On the iPhone ecosystem, 790 has their own app and WQAM is available on iRadioNOW.

I have very vivid memories of miami fans doing the same to their MVP Ricky Williams when he made a decision to leave the NFL. Im pretty sure if he wouldnt of done this whole primetime special and drawn out this ridiculous process stuff like that probably wouldnt have happen or at least made the news.

What if DWade went to the Bulls, but the Heat landed James and Bosh?

Or Amare and James? Or Wade Amare and James?

That is the problem with what ifs, things run their course, and there are no certainties, in that sense my only blame would have been on James for kicking all the drama and staying in Cleveland, or if Wade had done the same, but stayed in Miami.

    Shelly Smith drew Cleveland.

I guess they figured she was least likely to be assaulted.

Im just speaking of a general response people have to the leader of the franchise in any sport leaving the team they follow and are heavely invested in emotionally and the response that then occurs when said player leaves or doesnt join the the team you follow. Not really big IFs, just the natural human response to something like that.

i dont blame him leaving cleveland at all. but screw him and the heat. i find it funny that the players can pull some crap like this and its ok but if the owners do it its called collusion.

will the roster be the 3 amigos and 9 minimum salary stiffs?

True, but Yankees do it every year and only once have they one a WS this decade. For the heat, you know they're going to win at least 3 rings.

    I'm still in shock...it's unbelievable.

    Riley is a God!

Spo is the luckiest coach of any kind on the planet.

Anyway, I have to give props where it's due.

Sect and HD have made this interesting for over a year now. They provided some interesting insights as to what the plan was. We had to endue a couple of rough seasons to see this through. It final came to fruition and us fans have the Dream Team.

Sect's source had us on the edge of seats as Sect was kind enough to pass it on.

HD superstitions were always amuzing to me.

Anyway, thanks for all your discussions...

I'm sure there'll be more as the roster gets filled out. Next season is going to be awesome.
