Here is the Post Week 14 draft order. You can download the Zip file below. Miami has clinched a top 5 pick, but it is still not 100% guaranteed they will get the #1 pick.

Here are all the Dolphins picks. Keep in mind this is before compensatory picks are handed out:

    1st round (1)
    2nd round (32)
    2nd round (54) - From San Diego
    3rd round (64)
    4th round (96)
    6th round (158)
    7th round (190)

    Well away from here
I'm thinking that we should get a compensatory pick for McIntosh - other than that I don't think we will get any others b/c most of the guys who worth anyhting that left us we cut. Welker was the only other guy to garner a pick and he was a RFA.

Sammy Morris hasn't played enough - Carter and McKinney we cut so we get nothing.

Man... we have a chance to draft 4, maybe 5 quality starters... because of the patriots losing their pick, we have in fact 2 first rounders (1st and top 2nd), 2 late second rounders(SD and top 3rd) and a late 3rd rounder (top 4th)

this draft is going to be very exciting boys, but I believe that stockpiling is mission numero uno

we are in for a hair-pulling, head scratching, offseason.. bad news, the draft is only in 151 days lol

Not really sure if we will get picks or not. Morris, McIntosh, Barnes and Bowens I believe are the ones that would potentially get us one. Welker was traded, so he doesn't apply.

I think we may get one late pick(6th or 7th round).

We are probably going to be adding more picks before the draft arrives. I think we will get one compensatory pick(6th or 7th round), a Jason Taylor trade lands us a late 1st rounder or early 2nd rounder and I think Marty Booker will be dangled for a late round pick.

We have been trying to get a pick for Booker for a while now, I have a feeling he's going to end up flat out cut ala Randy McMicheal.

I take it that NE gets the 2nd pick based upon SF's SOS?

    why not NE's SOS?

    the NFL sucks

It's the pick of the 49ers, so it has to be their strength of schedule. The pick number also gets determined through record of the 49ers so it makes sense. The *Pats shouldn't have this pick, but that's another story the NFL doesn't want to discuss.

We're still #1, but haven't clinched it. (One more loss will.) San Francisco jumped to something like #5 with a win over the Bengals.

I usually wait until after all the games are completed. However, I may put up a "Preliminary" Draft Order tonight. I will figure in that the Vikings beat the Bears tonight. If The Vikings do win, then my order will be correct. If the Bears win, I will have to make some adjustmants tomorrow night. Look for the post 15 draft order(figuring the Vikings win) later tonight(around 7:00PM or so).

As you wait though, I will tell you this. Miami still has not clinched #1 overall. In fact, if we win out(including a major upset in New England) we will NOT be picking #1. One loss out of the final two will clinch it.

Nubs, if Miami finishes with 3 W's, what is the SoS rankings for the teams tied presuming they dont win again (Rams, Jets, Falcons), what would SoS show??

I realize we would rotate each round, but how does it shake out for the 1st round and order from 1, 2, 3, and 4th overall pick in round 1?

I'm assuming we get 1 I'm just wondering where the Jets are at. I believe they are 4

I don't have my formulas in front of me right now, so I can't tell you as of this minute what the SOS is for the top 4 teams after Week 15.

For this example, I will use the SOS from Post Week 14. First off, SOS stands for Strength Of Schedule. It is the combined winning percentage of every team on the team's schedule. A higher SOS means you had a tougher schedule then a team with a lower SOS. SOS is the first tie breaker when teams finish with the same record for draft picks. Say the following is the SOS at the end of the year and all four teams have 3 wins.

    Dolphins - .548
    Rams - .514
    Falcons - .519
    Jets - .524

The Rams have the lowest SOS at .514, therefore they would have the 1st overall pick. The Falcons would pick #2, the Jets would pick #3 and the Dolphins would pick #4. What this means is that Miami won three games on a really tough schedule while the Rams won three games on a easier schedule. Mathematically, the Rams are a worse team.

Keep in mind though that if Miami keeps winning, it will help make the Jets SOS go up, so it is possible that the Dolphins could jump back in front of the Jets if they finish with the same record.

If they all finish with the same record(3-13) and have the above SOS(which they won't) the first round order:

    1. Rams
    2. Falcons
    3. Jets
    4. Dolphins

The would rotate in the second round and the order for round 2 would be:

    1. Falcons
    2. Jets
    3. Dolphins
    4. Rams

    Hope this helps.

If we don't end up with the first overall pick I will be sick to my stomach. I want us to win out, but I really want that #1 pick especially after what we've been through this year.

you can call it a first but it's still only a one pick difference just means the guy we pick his agent will want round 1 money. might be a holdout .
