I will be on vacation at Fort Myers beach for our 2nd preseason game vs the Jaguars. Are the games broadcasted in Fort Myers? Are there any sports bars there?

Plenty of sports bars there. As a last ditch resort go to Bayfront Bistro behind Publix on Fort Myers beach, tell them your a friend of the owner's brother Mark (me), the owner is Joe Yerkes. That MIGHT have enough stroke to get them to switch to the game, but I don't know if they have Sunday ticket so they may not be able to even get the game. Best I can offer. Best restaurant in Ft. Myers Beach anyway, try it out.

Plenty of sports bards in fort Myers though, best bet.

Phins I think he is talking about a pre-season game and all of those are shown on our local CBS station, channel 4 here in So Fla. As for overthere you may want to contact your local stations to see if any of them are carrying the Dolphins pre-season games.

None of our pre-season games this year will be on national TV so they are all local productions. However I believe they are replayed the next day or two on NFL Network. Of course that isn't live and usually is sometime during a weekday which I am guessing will be useless to the original poster.

there is dockside sports pub, but thats a browns bar, theres smokin oyster brewery they usually have sports on tv im sure they might show the game. and theres a sports bar called ron dao's only a few minutes from the beach. last season i think they played all the preseason games on CW6 so wherever you go, they should be able to show it. where are you staying down there? i designed a few hotels on the beach.

I was talking about our local channel 4 here in Miami - WFOR - which is a CBS affiliate and is the station producing the Dolphins pre-season telecasts.

Unfortunately, I don't believe the games will televised locally in Ft. Myers, or at least they weren't when I lived there for 20+ years. Sadly, that town has become more Pro-Bucs than Dolphins. So much so that when both are shown on Fox in a given week, Tampa Bay usually gets the nod.

You may be able to find a bar that is showing the preseason games on Satellite, and honestly your best bet, believe it not, is Hooters. Not sure if the one on the Beach does, but the one off of 41 was mainly a Dolphins bar and always showed the regular season games on the big screens. You gotta ****ing love Hooters.

It really is a Godly place, Hooters. When I die, I prefer my funeral service to be held there, open casket, with some hot wings and bleu cheese set on my chest, for all to enjoy. Amen.
