Sorry I couldn't come up with a better title. In this article he says what he likes and hates from a fantasy perspective. Here is the link: http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/football/ffl/story?page=nfldk2k10tmrlovehate To save you some time and reading thru the whole ESPN article (unless you want to) I will give you what he liked and disliked about the Dolphins. First, what he loves: Short list huh... Second, what he hates: So what do you think? Do you agree or disagree? Give me your comments and feel free to click on the link above to get his picks on the other players.
I think it's refreshing and valuable when you see someone look at things from such a broad, mile-high angle. His note on Henne is great.
Hard to disagree really with Brown. Fantasy is all about production. Unfortunately for Ronnie, the production hasn't matched his ability. I don't agree necessarily with hating Marshall. Is he going to be a 1300yd, 13 TD player? I don't expect that. I expect somewhere from 1000-1200 yds, and 5-7 TDs. And I wouldn't be disappointed with that level of production. Dan Henning is the type of OC that spreads the ball around, and if anything, that will increase with Marshall around. I don't see Hilliard as a guy thats going to put up big numbers. He is a decent option as a replacement, but I don't see much upside. If Cobbs is 100% in TC, then I wouldnt be surprised at all if Hilliard doesn't make the team. ETA: and to be fair, those three 300 yd games of Henne came with 52, 46, and 55 attempts.
No problems with it. Wouldn't mind seeing Bess as a darkhorse. Good PPR guy at ~80-85 rec, 900 yd, 5-6 TD. I'll never draft Ronnie again.
Two thoughts: 1. Matthew Berry is so incredibly wrong so often that I'm always amazed he still has a job. But then I remember that he works for ESPN, and it all makes sense. There are plenty of better fantasy football opinionators out there. Gregg Rosenthal and Evan Silva at Rotoworld, and Jamey Eisenberg and Dave Richard at CBS come readily to mind. 2. There's a fantasy football subforum, you know.
I agree with you there. He is going to be racking up fantasy points like nobody's business. Thanks for posting.
Only a brain-dead idiot would pick Hilliard over Ricky. I also think that marshall will be a great pick. New Qb doesn't me jack, look what did with that noodle arm orton after Cutler left.
Good points there. I don't think that Henne will need to get that many attempts to get to 300 yds this time around. Now that we have Marshall and Co. that should happen often.
Good point...it looks like something that would be copied and pasted or something. Thanks for posting.
Yeah I agree with that especially since Hilliard hasn't done enough to be a factor in fantasy. Good post.
You know I didn't think about that. I wouldn't be surprised if it was sent there. Thanks for telling me that. I will make sure to place this type of thread in the proper place.
