He said WHAT is, not WHEN is. Lots of running backs in the league get injured. AP is a game changer for both teams if you watch him. He runs and gains yards for his team, and fumbles to help out the other teams. When Ronnie is healthy, he is a really good running back, amongst the best in the league. Problem is, he is not healthy often enough to be amongst the season leaders.

But when healthy, he is a game changer.

My mistake on that part. Yes, lot of them do get injured. They don't all end up like Ronnie Brown though.

I can fix Peterson's fumbling issues. It's pretty hard to fix injury issues.

You can fix his fumbling issues? Cause he sure can't, nor can his RB coach. He has had this problem since coming into the league, it's his style of running and i dont see it changing.

Not me personally, I meant a coach. Tom Coughlin fixed Barber's fumbling issues. I think they would be able to fix Peterson's issues.

I just feel it's the way he runs, to change his fumbling issue would make him less of a game breaker. Since ball security would slow him down. Be tougher for him to change then it was for Barber.

You could be right. I can't say right or wrong.

can coach how you carry & protect the ball
    i.e. fumbling
can't coach speed & instinct in a running back

Great point Samphin, and IF he goes out and tears the league up this year, I doubt that we'll see him back here, at least at the contract amounts he'll surely want. Unfortunately, anyone who gets him, when healthy, he's a beast...

I think he is an excellent back
that the FontOffice isn't in love
    w/ due to recurring injuries
    I think they believe Ricky
is good for another 2 or 3 seasons
& intend to get the best possible deal
for Ronnie after this season plays out
    regardless w/how well he does
they will look to the next draft for RB's
I'm sure they are already looking
