He's now the highest paid safety in the history of football. He'd better apologize for missing a practice. Ken LaVicka of ESPN also praised Paul Soliai.
Ok, so Kim bokamper just walked into the bar... I think I'm gonna buy a lotto ticket on the way home! Super cool dude, came over, shook my hand and bought me a beer!!!
Call it like you see it. I cant tell you arent experienced. We are all so starved to get this year going, we want it ALL. Its a great time of year.....cept for the stinkin HEAT.
I apologize on the incognito vs solilai report, from the distance I was at it may have been incorrect data.... And are dang numbers all look the same! Haha
Some interesting things were said here. The pat white thing is still fishy but as long as he's healthy and in camp thats all i care about at this point.
Not nearly as fishy as the Matt Roth situation, IMO. Anyway, for you guys who were wondering about the Sparano presser, you should subscribe to the Miami Dolphins on Demand podcast in iTunes. Just go to the iTunes Store and search for exactly that phrase, Miami Dolphins on Demand. They push out audio of Sparano's pressers, player interviews, and segments with Ken LaVicka, who I had never heard of before finding this podcast, but hey. Today alone they have Sparano's presser, a Randy Starks interview, a Marques Douglas interview, and a LaVicka segment.
Hey Guys! I dont know how to post pics in here yet..... I did however upload a bunch of what i took this morning to my flickr account. The link is below, please go easy on me! LOL http://www.flickr.com/photos/12384013@N04/ Enjoy!
Morning Highlights http://www.miamidolphins.com/aquavision/video/training-camp-morning-practice-highlights-73110 Not much too see...
It should be, the quick kick on 3rd and long was once a staple in the NFL. Last time I watched a quick kick, Randall Cunningham was doing it. That is the sort of approach I want this season, from every angle the Dolphins are attacking the opponent and doing the unexpected, from quick kicks to blitzes to the WildCat to Deej's "Multi Dimensional Offensive Theory".
there would be no greater a positive development than Paul Soliai finally seizing the NT position, that would free Randy Starks and our Dline would be dominant imho.
No need for that IMO. Having them both rotate, or having them at diff positions would be pretty good as well.
Well, Starks was a All Pro De performance wise in 09 in a much more passive, read and react style of defense, with Nolan's emphasis on penetration, Starks could have an even better year at DE. and Wake/Starks/Soliai/Grant or Langford could be a fine nickel rush line, or even 4-3 Dline if the situation called for it. toss Odrick into the mix as well.
the last 2 years we have been executing in extremely difficult situations, putting it out there in unrhythmic patterns, and we came out of it without big mistakes in those crucial moments..nobody in the NFL has been practicing to the extent that we have {that's changing as we speak, tebow drafted in the first, and Cribbs being the browns higest paid player}, that is going to pay dividends this year...By putting players in such uncomfortable situations, you have set a foundation for executing in such situations. I wonder what the ratio of henne's snaps are taken away from him with the wildcat relative to other QB's and their run game?.
So they're running pass skeleton drills again but rotating in different coverages... Marshall just caught a nice ball against vontae!!
Well, what I had in mind is that, plus more, say the WC..from the hurry up offense, or the pat cat (or whomever) from the no huddle, being so aggressive that the opponent has to account for everything..and waste time doing so.
