@KLV760 From a pass-rushing standpoint, Cameron Wake is having an epic start to camp. Destroyed Jake Long 3 times tonite. #Dolphins

#Dolphins DE Jared Odrick was very effective, especially 1-on-1 vs Cory Procter. He's quick and relentless. #Dolphins

Tweets coming in from Ben Volin, Ken LaVicka and Armando Salguero, the very first thing all three of them said was a compliment to Cam Wake. Volin and LaVicka agree that Wake "brutalized" Jake Long three times.

The skeptics will think that our all pro lineman was beaten 3 times. They'll look at what is wrong with Jake instead of what might be write with Wake.

If you stop and think about it, if Wake wasn't having some success against Long then we should be somewhat concerned. One thing that Long has issues with is a bull rush. Wake fell back into the habit of trying to simply overpower blockers and drive through them. He used both leverage and leg strength to do so. So seeing this happen should to some degree be expected.

Now, we'll see how it goes, but Jake having issues with Wake is a good thing, as it should also get Jake ready for this move for the season, as he will undoubtedly face it a good deal. Neither Porter or Taylor was 'that' kind of player at this stage; neither was overpowering anyone anytime soon.

I believe that is the goal, mos def a hurry up package that can be displayed at any time...Henne loves that shotgun..absolutely should maximize that weapon of an arm this dude has with 4 receiver sets.

Speaking of that arm, to hear Brandon Marshall speak of it you would think he's decribing something he's never seen before..and I've said before, the trajectory is unlike any other qb ive seen,i think that sharp level spiral is something that complements Marshall's skillset, he seems to like the ball eye level, square to the QB. Henne's trajectory is perfect for that.

Well, the way I understand it, if you want RAC, the Wr has to have the ball at that level so they continue in stride with the ball on things like Slants and crossing routes.

As for Mr Wake and Big Jake, no surprise, we all saw Cam last season as a NFL Rook a yr under his belt he should on occasion get the better of All Pro Tackles.

My question with him is can he flash back to the inside consistently as he did in the 2nd Patriots Game to force Brady to throw the INT?

He simply cannot run a speed rush arc, then rely on his bullrush, he needs one more move, if he developed a spin move or club rip Taylor would be proven correct..

I'm digging Ike right now, first TC as a OLB and he is doing a fine job.

@MikeBerardino Funny moment w/IAF (alama-francis) going low on Jake Long's knees and 77 sorta lifting him up with one hand on the throat, Vader style

    Whoa.

@MikeBerardino Then they laughed about it. Nobody fights with Jake

Cam Wake has no pass rushing moves, left tackles sack their own Qb to keep them safe from Cam Wake.

Kidding aside, I'd guess the LDE rotation is Langford, McDaniel, then Grant?

Hey Guys! im back in orlando after spending what was probably the most amazing football filled day of my life. I didnt get a chance to update much from the PM practice because of where i was sitting. I was invited to join the friends and family tent for the PM practice and i was on cloud nine. I will make sure to update my flickr account to show you guys, but i ended up getting a photo with Coach Sparano, Brandon Marshall and Drew Rosenhous. We hung out after practice and i got to fist bump Randy Starks, Will Allen, Pat Turner, Tony Fasano, Pat White, Mike Nolan, Channing Crowder, odrick, Misi, Dansby, Brown, and Ricky! It was incredible, best day ever! I hope i was able to fill you guys in with a little of what was going down yesterday.

    Funny Story:

I live in Oviedo florida, (outside orlando) and when i met Marshall i said' "oviedo in the house!" hahaha he was like, nahhhhhh man! Lake Howell! You are the enemy!!!!!! ( lake howell competes at the HS level with oviedo and is basically next door) He was kinda funny about it... just thought i would share that with you guys!

    Thanks for the props everyone!

    Shaun
