My feelings exactly though I think we'll do better than the Jets. I'm still more worried about the Patriots then the Jets
1 thru 53 is getting bigger, faster, and stronger....people better start recognizing, cause iam tellin ya, The blueprint here being built has dynasty written all over it. If Jerry and Thomas start along that oline, iam gonna crap my pants...Misi and Odick on the def side of the ball?, i mean how young would are starting lineup be? amazing considering the respect their getting around the league..
Remember that we have a brutal schedule (on paper). We could very well be a better team than last year and not have a ton of extra wins to show for it. One of the things I would love ot see this team do though is win in September again. Sparano's boys have been lousy in each of his first two seasons as coach and have had to rally just to be considered in the playoff talk as the season goes on. If they can get out of the gate early and still build their momentum like yesteryear, we will be in good shape.
Henne didn't set the world on fire, but I'd say carving up the Jets on a Monday Night in your first* career NFL start is pretty "big time". EDIT: (*) Second career start. The Bills were his first victim.
Well now I just have to root harder for this to happen Box of Depends is being ordered right now for you.
I too had issues with our defensive line with Ferg, I'm not convinced Merling is a huge loss. Grant and Douglas are significant upgrades, and Odrick is playing well by all accounts. My greater concern is with our secondary is we have an aggressive front 7 - I want someone, anyone, to step up the FS position.
Henne isn't ready for big time because they say he isn't ready for big time. These 'analysts' piss me off because all they do is BS on speculation straight through. They never actually view tape, follow progress in training camp or even take into account anything other than their own mind. Clayton is talking out of his sphincter on a lot of this. Besides, he's only chicken little.
I feel the same way. I really don't think he played very well for us. He seemed lazy and unmotivated at times.
We're a playoff caliber team, like many others. There's so many factors that'll make or break us anywhere from 7 to 11 wins. It's going to be exciting to watch.
What I found funny was the phrase itself. These experts throw around these stupid sayings like they're actually backed up by anything. What is this "big-time" these experts refer to exactly?
