Very important, lol. A lot of my time is consumed by it. Research, watching games over and over, etc.
It's my favorite sport and the Phins are my all-time favorite sports team. Nothing has ever or will ever compare to it.
Football absolutely is my free time obsession. But it certainly pales in comparison to the real things in life. Football doesn't shape the person I am, all the other things do.
Its important, very, but I used to get that tickly feeling in my stomach on gameday mornings when I was in my 20's & 30's, and I just don't get that anymore. Maybe its that I have been letdown so many times by the Fins the last 25-30 years, I am just not as passionate about it as I used to be.
The NFL and watching the Phins just make my Sundays complete. I love the matchups and also playing fantasy football with my buddies. Hopefully there won't be a strike in 2011.....it will kill me.
Not a day goes by that I don't spend a decent portion a time involving some NFL. I would probably go insane if we had a blackout.
I love the NFL and I love football, heck I still play tackle football with my friends.... its hard to get a game nowadays because everyone is scared of injuries.... we tend to play at least once a week but sometimes we dont have enough ppl. That said when its football season do not bother me while the Dolphins are on or if there is a football game on.... Even High School football, if there is nothing better to do ill go watch a High School football game. Heck ill go watch my cousin's play optimist football as long as i am watching football. Best part is that my gf loves football too so I have no problem watching a game when I am with her!
Yeah.. the NFL is definitely peaking my interest! In the past, I wouldn't say it was of any importance in the past but am finding myself becoming more fascinated... -Scout
Since I'm now retired Football, hunting, and fishing in one form or another keep me busy and interested! And I should add above ground!
I love football. It allows me to relax with a calming game after the thrill of leading worship twice each Sunday. On Mondays, and Thursdays, it helps me prepare calmly for the following extremely busy day in the parish. All in all, it's rather a tranquil event which helps pass the otherwise boring time between moments of excitement and enthusiastic effort in being in pastoral leadership. Well, not really. The only thing that is really more important in my free time is what I do with my spouse, privately and intimately... But, football is definitely #2 to that!
