I think Cleveland is going to play spoiler this season to one of the teams in their division (and conference). They may not be the most talented group but they are going to be tough as nails.

john pillips has had a very good camp according to reports and he seemms to be having a nice gm so far. the guy likes to hunt bobcats too lol

 

Well, we play the Bengals this season, and the Cowpokes in game #4 of the preseason.

I'm really glad we did not have that stupid preseason schedule were we play the teams in the preseason that we play in the regular season, that kept everything as vanilla as possible as Sparano is world class paranoid about tipping his hand.

He was a solid player in college too. I remember watching him. Solid blocker and nice hands. Not very athletic though IMO.

 

Well done by Adam Jones on the end around. Poor job by Sam Hurd blocking though.

 

Note: Girbil is #27. Gets beat on his first play. Nice. At least he made the tackle though. He's gonna have to tackle for as well as he covers.

 

That Cinci Dline looks huge, almost as large as ours.

 

He should have turned his head around on that play IMO. His head is never on a swivel it seems.

I'll have some crow because I was very critical of him keeping his job from 05-08, looks like kepping him was a good move.

 

I like Chinedum Ndukwe on that team. I don't know why he's not played more but he has some nice talent. More talent than Crocker at least IMO.

Yes, I think it is him. I was trying to think of his name and I kept thinking Brenston Buckner but I knew it wasn't right lol.

 

Not pretty. I'd take out Palmer if that's how it's gonna go. Maybe until that inside line figures it out, Palmer is safer riding the pine.
