I looked around but couldn't find anything....I was just curious and wanted to see if anybody knows what actually happened during the Steeler game when Henne was sidelined with an "eye injury" was there ever an official statement of what happened? Just curious because it obviously seems to be fine now.
I had thought it was a concussion. I mean he got hit pretty hard and blurred vision is one of the symptoms of a concussion.
Likely a concussion, but was never confirmed as such. The only information available says that he had blurred vision.
The conspiracy theorists would like to believe he was pulled out of the game for some other reason....saving him or wanting to see more of Pat White and etc.. I've seen him get pounded standing in that pocket and jump back up ready to go....... the kid plays with a serious intensity. He would have thrown a fit had they pulled him out for no reason.
I don't think it's much of a conspiracy. I mean, we were eliminated from the playoffs at that point, and why expose Henne to injury at that point, especially if he'd been hit a few times. Why not use that game to do a little more evaluation before the offseason?
False. Some of the actuators near his shoulder expired. Parts had to be flown in from Tokyo. Would not arrive arrive until much later.
That's all good and well if but there would be no reason in the world to lie about it, and even less of a reason to have Chad fake an injury. If you want to get White some action simply explain that to Chad and ask him to sit.
I'll ask this question again. If the Dolphins were in a do or die situation to make the playoffs would Henne have been taken out of the game? I still say hell no.
Depends on how blurry his vision was......if he could see at all he probably goes back in. But in that situation they just didn't feel the need to risk further injry to him. If something was on the line then it's something to talk about...... but there wasn't so it's not
water under the bridge thread anyways but if he really did get a concussion or blurry vision that could be an issue down the road. That will happen again if that is the case. I still believe it was the Dolphins protecting the investment. Insert PW
