The only things stopping Marshall from playing basketball would be football in 2011 and a lack of NBA teams willing to sign him.

I just read that tweet from Schefter myself ... I'll be pretty pissed if yet another pro sport goes on strike or locks out

Sparano's quote is great. "I have seen him jump, he isn't playing basketball."

But yeah, someone should tell Marshall that the NBA isn't exactly on solid ground with their CBA either right now. Hopefully he can bunt or throw a curveball...

He can jump higher than me...

He is 6'4" and long. I don't recall his measurables with regards to vertical leap and whatnot, but it may be a case of him being big and thus, looking like he can jump higher than really can or does.

Or it was Sparano's not-so subtle way of telling Brandon to re-think his thought process.

    ...ring chaser.

You can't go around ring-chasing at the age of 26/27. :pity:

Charles Barkley frowns upon your shenanigans, Brandon.

Marshall doesn't seem to share the Bosses' disdain for speaking to the media.

I can see a lockout:sad: The players are just making too much and the owners need to step in a do the right thing:yes:

Hate to see a lockout, but if it helps the league in the long run. then I'm for it.

They BOTH need to do the right thing. I know there's disparity between teams incomes, but I was downright shocked by the income of the Packers. I'd consider them to be mid-tier in income, and they really didn't make much over the course of a year.

Granted there's more to the story, and I'd like to see players get paid rather than billionaires add to their riches, but the current pay hike by the players is unsustainable, and rookie contracts are out of control. I think we should lock players salaries in at where their at, and put the rookies on a pay scale per their pick position. That gives the players the same amount that they currently get, and saves the owners some money on rookies.

Either way something better give, or I'll be royally pissed at BOTH parties.
