Second hand info here. I'm told this was on ESPN countdown show yesterday evening. Didn't see it myself, but this is from someone I trust who did. I've heard this from two different people now. Anyway, Adam Schefter told the story about his bus driver having to use the bathroom 'really bad'. He tried to go into the locker room, but security denied him and informed he'd have to use the facilities some distance away. But alas, the driver found a side door, walked thru the locker room......and squatted down. Said a laughing Schefter, his driver 'left them a memento they'd never forget'. To sum up, Adam Schefter's bus driver took a dump on the floor of the Dolphins locker room.
Yeah, nothing like throwing your **** at people to maintain that level of humanity, not to mention making some poor janitor have to clean it up. I never got peoples obsession with defecation as a way of striking back so to speak.
FYI guys, the Dolphins locker room is carpeted. And the bathrooms are directly adjoined to it. Can't imagine why he'd go on the floor unless he wanted to.
I wouldn't doubt it. OT: this would be a whole lot more palatable if it were the Jets locker room. You know, the whole "**** on, little brother" thing.
Everything negative is more acceptable in a Jets locker room. Bad: A rival's beat reporter catching the QB and CB having a tickle fight. Not so bad: A rival's beat reporter catching the QB and CB having a tickle fight, in the Jets locker room.
Is it really possible that Schefter would admit this on television? Just sounds a little far fetched for me. I'm not saying it didn't happened, but if it did, having Schefter admit to it on a national television station seems hard to buy.
Why would you do that?? Why would Schefter drop that hint, it is obvious what that means...Lastly why would you pick anything ran by Parcells, Ireland, and Spar to mess around with....those guys say what you want good or bad about them, but they are cut throat...
I doubt he pinched one on the floor, prob just left them a non flushed toilet with a nasty stinker in it.
Whether or not it actually happened the way he implied, we'll see. But he absolutely referenced it on national TV. I got a text when it happened and heard the same thing from another person. They both got the impression he went on the floor. I sent Schefter a message. Hopefully he'll reply.
Honestly if it is true, not saying is isnt Muck, but that guy should get canned over that...there are so many things wrong with that, it isnt even funny, starting off with the most important which is disease prevention/sanitation...and trepassing...imagine if the players got sick over this?? That being said if it happened to the Pats or the Jets, I would be laughing my arse off...
I heard Shefter tell the story and my impression was that the bus driver went in the bathroom, not on the floor. I think the confusion is b/c Shefter said "squatted" but I know I've spoken to people from the Michigan area (where Shefter went to school) who say "squatted" when they are referring to somebody going to the bathroom even when using the facilities. I think that's simply a colloquialism that many are not familiar with.
I can't imagine he did it on the floor without getting killed. I mean, first, there was absolutely nobody else in the locker room when this occurred? I can see him going into the bathroom and not flushing or just stinking up the place. Also, if his last name is really Tart, then he has bigger issues.
This. When they told the story it seemed pretty clear that he had snuck into the locker room bathroom and did his business, and the reason that this is supposed to be funny is because A) They wouldn't let him in, and yet somehow he found himself right in the locker room B) 99% of the people at ESPN are completely unfunny
This. I heard/saw the story too and it gave me the impression he found the bathroom adjoining the lockerroom.
If it was as we speculate, I would hope to hear this from Sparano: "To the man who dropped a deuce on our floor, you are a disgusting human being, you should be fired, and you should also get yourself checked for VD. That wasn't corn".
