Coverage units still need a lot of work

 

I will never understand the purpose of illegal contact being an automatic first down.

 

It was Procter and Feinga. I don't think Thomas played at all.

He ran back the first 2-3, then they gave Pruitt a shot.... then said screw it and went right back to Carroll. Hope that was the signature for the job being his.

 

I definitely saw Thomas in there. Maybe it was someone else, but I was sure Thomas was in there.

Donald Thomas has been RG for most of the 2nd half.

 

Good to see Thomas in then. I was rooting for him but If someone better is in, he's excellent depth. Can't wait to see John Jerry back though.

And that about wraps this up. My only concern is that fourth quarter D giving up so many points...

Night guys. I think we're all pleased except about ST's and some DB play. Otherwise we did enough to win convincingly and run out the game in the second half. Good to see some consistency and different people stepping up. Makes the opposing team's planning that much harder.

 

He may not start the season as a starter, but I have a feeling we haven't seen the last from Donald Thomas.

I am guessing Pat White will play most to all of the final preseason game when all the starters are rested for opening day

 

not completely. those two rookies on jacksonville will give jax one of the best return units in the league. we actually didnt do too bad. we contained them

 

I'm happy to see Henne pushing the ball to the TE in the middle of the field. The second TD to Fasano behind him but good placement

 

The big cut comes down after game 3, he will not survive.

 

Anyone think Carroll and Ness could have done any worse than VD and SS?

 

So reports of the death of Brandon Marshall have been grossly exagerrated.

 

Great game.

We got exactly what we wanted.

The offense showed more than just some improvement, they improved big time and hopefully can continue on this course.

Granted, we knew the JAX defense was suspect going in but all the more reason to have seen our Offense do well.

I think our defense could've played a little better but they should get better as well the closer we get to the first game.

Looking good. Great to see that these guys are taking things seriously and not blowing things off, but rather watching the film and working hard to not make the same mistakes.

really enjoyed the game on the site the annoying bit as it kept establishing the connection ever few minutes the game was a Heart stopper hope next week against alantas it will be better go the Dolphins

this of course makes absolutely no sense, you have to play a game and have to cut to 53 before, so you play all the guys who play on sundays, on the last preseason game ?....the final cutdown is sept. 4, 2 days after our last game
