Vontaes 6 yard loss tackle on MJD was awesome......sparano agreed......tony ran onto the field and slapped vontae on the back, cheering. so cool to see the fire from the coach!

He has disappointed, just rewatched Ikaika getting toasted for the TD pass to Bolin, you can see what happened, he did not jam the FB and he let himself be caught in no man's land. Which happens, what bothers me a bit is they ran the same play on him earlier in the series. 3 weeks out from being a Dlineman, he is playing "okay", needs some work though.
i was pissed looking through the DVR and seeing our saturday night game not replayed till late monday... stupid scheduling... so i recorded it last night and will watch today after work since being in NY I couldn't watch it live... im pumped

Among other things, he tries to "bump" the Olineman off of him and it rarely works well, I'd like to see him bullrush a bit more with his height and leverage advantage, and his hands need some work as well.
God Bess should have went to the left of Hartline on that "screen". He would've had the 1st down easy, and might have even got by #20.
