Im pretty sure theres no way he saw the LB behind the OL there. No way a QB makes that throw if he see's that guy standing there.
but they forced a fumble and picked off a pass, i think there is lot of room for improvement, but we sure take the ball away tonight we should have went to the beast way earlier than we have, let him make a play
Henne forced it but it can be connected to clock management. If we call our timeout instead of trying for the spike we have more time for 3 shots and maybe Henne does not force it. If we don't run that AWFUL end around we have an eternity and he does not force it and maybe we try a run from the goal line on first down. Poor decision? Maybe but the calls that preceded it led to it. It's only week 3 of preseason and Henning is already beginning to make me want to smash things. Oh...and Sparano should have taken some of the time he spent losing wait to take a ****ing course on ****ing clock management!
Why the hell he called that end around to Ronnie Brown is beyond me. What a STUPID playcall. Im with you, Im already sick of Henning. We toasted Pasqualoni last year, but why not Henning too. I don't get it.
All very valid points. I was wondering if they still had a few timeouts when they decided to spike it. The endaround was a headscratcher, but if it somehow worked, Henning would have looked like a genius, much like that play in Buffalo last year. I don't understand why they don't go with their bread'n'butter inside the thirty instead of getting cute with their play-call.
Shaking my head at that 2:00 offense. They're still under center and handing the ball off. No timeout after the Marshall catch. They need to study some Patriot 2 minute offense and learn something. Coaching is so subpar in that area it's become a laughingstock.
Amen man. Got back from the golf course just in time to see that last drive... I would've thought he'd learned after that New Orleans game.
HE WAS involved early, and he fumbled the ball. The refs got it wrong on THAT one. Its got to be hard for Henne to keep throwing it to him since he KEEPS on putting the ball on the ground.
What bothers me is the Oline is just not firing off of the ball, they are playing on their heels and not really launching out of their stances. ST looks better, D looks passable, O looks like the bottom of a dumpster.
This is true, but if you're trying to take a shot at our team, lets not forget what yours looks like. But you're right, good for Sparano. Takes alot of work and discipline to drop 55 pounds in 4-6 months of an offseason. Especially for someone his age.
I dont know...........I think I would keep calling the end around a couple of more times since it didnt work the FIRST TWO TIMES. Henning will kill our chances this year. Its only preseason, but..............
This is so frustrating. The Dolphins are much better than this. The defense is playing well. Offense and special teams look bad. I'm streaming the game on my laptop, HDMI'd to my TV, with some other Fins fans and am giving a round of shots each touchdown. MAKE ME PROUD IN THE SECOND HALF !!!
