This made me laugh a bit how convenient he is cleared for his first game to be against the Dolphins. Does this kinda gives the feeling he is going to play the Dolphins with a bit of a grudge? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...e-in-final-preseason-game?module=HP_headlines
I'd be happy if Carroll is on him all day and Vontae is on the sidelines in a suit. Actually, throw Sean Smith on him and make him earn a damn job.
I'm sure they just want to give him some work before the regular season starts. This is obviously the only chance he has to do it
Agreed, but Sparano has indicated that a good portion of our starters will be out there to begin the game. IMO, they need to be. The WRs need to stop dropping the ball, and Henne needs to help them out by placing his passes better.
I think Henne is getting a bit of a raw deal around here, no surprise though. If you hit the receiver on the hands with a football the receiver should catch the damn thing. Yes, placement is important for YAC but some of the drops have been just plain old drops. I'd like to see the starting offense out for 1-2 series. Run some basic stuff and get a little groove. That depends on success. If they go 3 and out twice then they stay out there until they get past midfield on a drive. I'd sit some guys though for sure. Davis, Bell, Dansby, Wake and Starks would all be sitting down.
True killer not alot at stake but it would be nice to make his debut look like a rookie. A shut down would be sweet for our backfield.
I remember reading on foxsports (don't have a link) a week or so ago that he was coming along well and had a chance to play againist us. Cowboys started training camp earlier cause of the HOF game, so he's had some extra time to heap up.
I hope you're being funny, I don't like the idea of trying to get inside a player's head by attacking someone like his own Mom, that is just to me, classless. Especially since this game has no significance, why do that to the kid? Maybe it's just me, I was taught if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. I know in regular season games there is smack talk, got no problem with it. But it has to be very hard mentally on Dez to deal with the fact his Mom had to be a hooker to keep him fed and clothed, and a roof over his head. To use that on him in a meaningless preseason game, just seems in very poor taste. And personally, I want VD or SS to get the best test of their skills possible, so I want Dez playing his very best, to push our CB's to play better. Sorry, off my soap box now.
If this happens, Dez is getting a Marshall versus Indy stat line.... Smith is making my patience wear thin....
He isnt a kid, he is a man.....a man who in every opposing stadium will most certainly get tortured by fans....ESPECIALLY in the NFC East....he better get used to it, starting this week sounds good to me... hahahah I just thought about Dez Bryant in Philly!!!!! .....yeah Philly is no Miami lets just say that....
The cowboys should win this game fairly easy, I dont expect to see anything whatsoever from us schematically, and I think were already mentally checked out of this game..Dallas on the other hand has so much pressure on them, they actually need to show up and play motivated football in a meaningless game just to keep the dogs off..
yeah i agree. we really have nothing to play for. they have to get their offense going. i think they will handle us pretty easily and then we'll have twenty threads saying how are defense sucks
