new uniforms?

I want us to be all white from head to toe....like Penn State....plain old white and no logo on the helmet....call me vanilla, but I like it simple.

 

sorry to bump this, but i didn't want to create another uniform thread.

anyways, i say that we keep our uniforms the way they are now, however, darkening the aqua more. i like that the players are now using black gloves, cleats, etc.

also, get rid of the orange third and use the old navy blue jersey for special occasions.

 

this and our jerseys would be perfect. Honestly the smaller drop-shadow is 100x better, but i think it would look even better without it!

Those uniforms we wore that day were the sweetest I have seen! I would love to see those as our permanent uniforms.
Even if you don't like the orange jersey, we have kicked some major butt while wearing it in some pretty amazing games!

Can't wait for the usual "we need scary colors and a mean Dolphin to scare our opponents" commment inevitably coming from someone. Colors scaring opponents is the sillyest concept I've ever heard.

Our color scheme and uni's are fine.

 

I don't care to "scare" opponents - but I would like to wear more manly colors. I think the University of Miami has a better green / aqua color than ours.

I would never just wear a shirt of either of our colors. I wish we had something that wasn't so bright so it was easier to have a stack of Phins shirts in the rotation that didn't look like I was going to a beach party...

...not that there aren't a lot of beach parties up here in Cleveland.

Yeah that is all I got except for adding any gray to the Dolphins uniform would be ugly as hell. Personally I like the hybrid throwback from the Dallas game years ago. Those unis were slick.

 

i actually like the look of the aqua jerseys when it rains. Makes the current ones darker like you mentioned

 

I dont know if this has been stated in here yet, but the home opener against the jets will be in the orange uni's.

 

I like our Uniforms, just drop the navy blue shading around the numbers. However, those ones drawn up by "Furious Yellow" are nice. They should use your design to change the alternate ones, or add another alternate.

Navy should not be used with the Dolphins [Though it does look good accenting the Dolphin on the actual logo.] We are not the Broncos, Mets, Islanders or Knicks. The Dolphins have their own unique colors that I don't think any other pro sports team has, it should stay that way.

that's precisely what i was referring to, but then someone would ask me to post pics and i don't have any...although i remember seeing a few on the sun sentinel from the first two preseason games.

that darker hue would look really nice and it wouldn't piss off the aqua diehards.

Couldn't care less what anyone else thinks...I friggin love these unis!

 

I wouldn't mind a toned down orange (like Denver's orange) as our primary. I've also always liked the navy blue Jersey too.

But at the end of the day, I don't really care. As long as our Helmet remains the same, I'm fine with almost anything... Except those cardinal looking things. I would hate that ****.

 

I like the old school jerseys and helmets but I would like to see a blaack one but I dont know if a non white helmet would look good for the phins

 

Still prefer the throwbacks we wore against Dallas on Thanksgiving years ago to any other uniform we've ever worn....

 

If the stinkin cardinals can make a black uni then so can we.....we make the black jersey's and leather jackets.
