Read the PUP rules, there is no "training camp PUP."

It is Active PUP and Reserve PUP. In order to be eligible for the Reserve PUP you had to be on the Active PUP during all of training camp and preseason.

Once you take a training camp snap you are not eligible for Active PUP, therefore not eligible for the Reserve PUP.

Wow, they have pretty much discarded the 09 draft class save for Davis, Smith and Clemons.

Many folks thought they did not have the guts to do jettison that many young players.

The only one left who is in doubt is John Nalbone.

i cant believe that hobbs is still under the last 10, same with rumba and ross weaver wow, has anyone heard anything about ross weaver in 4 weeks ?

 

Those are the 3 Db's on the bubble..along with Nate Ness.

And it is possible they keep Lumbala over Nalbone..possible, not probable.

And let's not forget Lexxy rarely played this preseason he could be on the bubble as well.

Just in the Jags game I saw him play for a handful of plays.

Now for some esoterica:

I'd think the UFL would be a better fit, but I'd like to see Pat White land somewhere with a chance to season up and play some ball.

 

If Turner makes it through waivers he might get to the PS. They probably expect him to get claimed and not Pruitt. Then again, Pruitt looked pretty decent when on STs, which Turner doesn't offer.

Seriously, I think Turner needs to put on some more weight and try and become a TE (like Martin did).

 

Unknown, just Pruitt is rumored to have a slot on the ps Lucky.

 

What is with that ? This is the diamond in the rough that started for us was it last year or 2008 ? Man that is brutal. I guess he never got his form back after that injury.

Or our team in 2008 was possibly that bad. He did start for us last year too, but Jerry has looked much better overall IMO.

I'm hoping some more moves will be made to help this. This will be a high priority in the offseason, IMO. Or at least it should be. Jeff Ireland may get the itchy trigger finger again and decide to take another braindead running quarterback like Tyrod Taylor with a 2nd round pick.

 

its just the same like rex hadnot, he looked good, but the talent level wasnt that good, thomas also seems to lack desire and has apparently no push to get better

 

Taylor had less rushing yards than Jake Locker last year.

Is Locker a braindead QB too?
