Good riddance to Turner. As for White, I'm genuinely sorry it didn't work out, as his fatal flaw was being overdrafted.

With about 3 hour to go he is, if the name Antonio Brown shows up on the waiver wire they decided to keep him.

I keep telling you not to count on acquiring players that are on someone else's roster. :shifty:

Not counting on anything Bro, he would be a nice "get" though.

I don't think Hilliard gets cut for Logan, especially not after Carroll's strong showing on returns in the preseason.

Difference being Logan has proven he can perform in that role.

    Eh, mere speculation, nothing more.

So who else is on the bubble?

    Nalbone
    Lumbala
    Hobbs
    Weaver
    Ness
    Grove
    Folsom
    Moses
    McCoy
    Baker
    Proctor
    Amaya

    anyone else?

With his salary, Grant is as much on the bubble as Baker. Johnson has to be on the bubble at ILB. Murtha should be in the bubble too.

Dotson being released means Grant made the team.

Johnson could be, but as long as Crowder is out he should make the opening day roster

Murtha is the only back up Left Tackle on the roster with Andrew Gardner waived and he has practiced at both RT and LT.

I think you're underestimating the "he's our guy/we coached him in Dallas" mentality.

Not so much Des, they could have had Crayton for a give away price and passed.

    And then there were 9..

Proctor could stick if McQuistan is viewed as the top backup, that means he becomes the #2 Center and Grove is pink slipped.

That'd be 11 cuts so far I believe. I think we were at 75 with the acquisition of McQuistan, so we still have 11 to go then right?

It was either 74 or 75 with McQuistan.

Either way we have at least 10 cuts left I think.

Moore and Wallace had better not get comfy on the roster:

And he is an ace special teamer.

    Well, have to figure

Weaver, Amaya, Ness, are likely to be waived.

    Down to 5..

Fascinating that Nalbone and Lumbala are still there.

Keeping 5 safeties wouldn't be unheard of, and Amaya looked promising.

It also wouldn't be crazy for Ness to stick as he showed a lot too.

I'm not writing either off yet, though I'd say their chances are slim.

I would rather keep Lumbala (I know not a true TE) and cut nalbone...I believe Lumbala can do more for us....I know we can keep both, but I think if the '53rd' guy will be a DB as we have so much uncertainty there...

I am not a fan of John Nalbone, to me a Te who is a receiver has to have a good instinct for finding the soft spots in coverages, Nalbone doesn't have that instinct and he apparently is not a good blocker.

Whether Lumbala makes it or not, I'd prefer not to see too much more of John "the fish" Nalbone.
