The boys that made it! congrats to the 2010 miami dolphins!!! *now i know, some guys may be swapped for other teams castoffs, but until then....i wanna personally welcome..... Micah Johnson.....signed in the middle of camp, maybe as just a "camp body" dude beats out 2 former dolphin draft picks (folsom, spitler) to make the team! Welcome bro! Reshad Jones....Some didnt know what to think about this guy, well he made it. congrats bro! Marlon Moore/Roberto Wallace...these guys! Wow! They became fan-favorites soon after making rounds in training camp and preseason games. They also beat out dolphin draft pick (3rd round) patrick turner, to make the team! Congrats to both of these fellas.....I am especially rooting for Roberto, big guy, wasnt much on him before.....pretty excited about these guys!!!!! 3 udfa's on our WR depth chart! Impressive work by our front office and scouts Nolan Carroll....this guy made waves in training camp, becoming a fan favorite...he got burnt a little bit in preseason, but he was facing alot of good wr's and was thrown into the fire a bit with will allen being hurt. Please join me, and mention anyone else you wanna give props to! Lets get positive! Lets get ready to pound the buffalo bills!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETTTTSSSS GOOOOOO MIIIAAAMMMMIIIIIIII !!!!!!!
I was with you DJ. He missed his chance in a number of preseason games though, as he was nursing an injury.
Jason Allen must have shared his stockpile of compromising photos of Bill Parcells with Quentin Moses.
Lets focus on what kind of game Cam wake had against the boys, that dude had a real nice overall linebacker game...The pressur in minimal attempts was once again there, crashing down the line with speed and tackling the ballcarrier for no gain was sweet, coverage was there as well, also he simply destroyed a tackle on one play that was scary... You wanna talk about upgrading your roster, Dansby, Marshall, and Wake, add superior talent to about 15 percent of the starting unit. Man Wake looked good to me.
Jason Allen is doesnt need photos, he is our 2nd best healthy CB. I just am so excited to finally see Nolan open it up and Marshall get his 1st TD as a phin.
I told you guys before the draft that Micah Johnson was a thumper. He doesn't bring much in coverage, but this guy got off blockers better than any inside linebacker not named Rolando McClain in the draft. He's got a nose for the football.
Rolando McClain was not the best stack and shed linebacker in the draft IMO. That went to Brandon Spikes.
man glad you told us! Couldnt figure that out by watching 1 series of kentucky on defense last year. glad you were here to "tell us"
Seriously, I'm proud of Jason Allen for just working hard and continuing to contribute to this team. After cutting guys like White and Turner, you have to appreciate someone like Allen who, although he isn't that stud safety we hoped, he at least isn't a waste.
I'd certainly echo the shout outs to Jason Allen, Reshad Jones, Marlon Moore, Roberto Wallace and last but not least Quentin friggin Moses! Also, IAF making this team is the most shocking to me...
Well, with Micah Johnson, I've seen him play and he looked like a sideline to sideline explosive defender who played downhill, but was athletic and liked contact. The Gurus to a man, did not go for his game too stiff, couldn't cover. He'll be a player to watch when the real bullets start flying as Channing Crowder has completely vanished, I suspect he has a groin problem or tore a stomach muscle. And Charlie Anderson is not a thumper, meaning Johnson will more than likely see package duty on the goal line or in short yardage situations. Heck why bother with the draft? We have how many UDFA's who made the team? 3? 4?
how many former UDFA guys do we have total? It seems like an unusually high amount, I wonder if it is indeed more than most teams
I seem to recall Colts, Pats, and Ravens all having a decent amount of success with udfas in recent years (by success I mean them making the team).
I said in the draft threads that John Jerry and Reshad Jones were my two favorite picks for the rounds they were selected in. John Jerry has stepped up with the 1st teamers. I expect Reshad to be starting next year.
