This is a what have you done for me lately league. Lately, the Raiders have sucked. We haven't been much better but we've been to the playoffs dammit.

I doubt Parcells is disappointed with Henne.

Carucci is on Sirius NFL radio and just said, "As I understand it, Parcells is disappointed with how it had gone with Henne so far," but that when he first said it on WEEI, another guy said that this is Parcells M.O. because he told every player that he was disappointed in them every day and Vic said he didn't know for sure what he meant by it beyond the surface.

1 day before the game and ive never seen such negativity surrounding the team this week. We arnt anywhere near as bad as its coming across. I hope we stick it to the Bills tomorrow and show the doubters we are a decent football team. Henne can lead the team. No doubt about it.

Whether it's true or not this should motivate Henne.

If hearing this doesn't make him determined to shred the Bills (Buffalo and Parcells) and to PROVE he is a good QB, then the man has no pulse and cannot be motivated.

I am VERY interested in seeing how Henne responds to this on the field.

Don't forget, he has to have the opportunity to shred the Buffalo Bills. In other words, there's a man above by the name of Dan Henning who calls his plays.

Its PFT, whatever. Everyone is jumping off the deep end before games have been even played. People need to take a deep breath.

Lots of talk about Parcells on Sirius today. The best being that Parcells saw the players looking for Langford's earrings and that was the final straw for Parcells who realized that this isn't the "same NFL."

I didn't realize we have lost 5 straight in Buffalo. Yuck.

I think this is 100% true. But I also have to say that I am disappointed in Parcells. And Ireland, and Sparano. But there is no time to lament this as the season starts tomorrow. I think though, unless they do something totally unexpected this year, they will be gone next year. And that, for the Fins, will be a good thing.

I remember it differently. As I recall, Tuna liked Romo. After all, he started him over bledsoe even when Jerry disagreed with it very publicly (of course he changed his tune after Romo played well). Jerry felt it was giving up on the season, Tuna didn't. What Tuna didnt' want to do was anoint him (hence my reference) as the media wanted to.

Biggest problem I see right now is the new owners of the franchise. They have taken a football team and used it's popularity to create a freak show. Football is no longer the primary concern it seems, but rather it is just a part of the "entertainment" package that is now the Miami Dolphins. When you have this type of leadership, it is no wonder the football part of it is in such disarray. I bet 'ol Robie is rolling over in his grave, and I'd love to hear Shula's honest take on what's going on. Guarantee these real football men would not approve. This football team has no real football leadership, and it shows.
