Great game guy. You deserve this game. Kicked our butts up and down the field. Seems like teams have figured out that if you swarm AD and cover shank... we have major issues.

    Only bright spot was AD
Anyone still think CJ2K is the best back in the league?
One of the best performances I've ever seen. That run where he was tripped up left me in awe. Good luck the rest of the season and.....see you in the superbowl. We really need Rice back.

Thanks, I'm really surprised our defense was able to stifle your offense so much. AP definitely earned his paycheck, and any doubts last season after his case of the dropsies is totally gone.

Your Defense corrected amazingly in the second half to the run, definitely earned up to their reputation there.

Glad we do not play Minnesota twice a year, lol.

Right back at you. Dude, that Adrian Peterson guy of yours is legit. It's really a shame this year (thus far), that Adrian Peterson has been what Ricky was for us in 2003. Legit player who just can't do it all on his own. Hope Childress doesn't run this guy into the ground before that offense gets clicking, for your fanbase's sake.

It’s official: Vikings fans are much classier than Bills fans.

Definitely a good game. Came down right to the end. Both teams had problems with the passing game but came through anyway.

And yeah, I do think Chris Johnson is better than Adrian Peterson. Sorry, man.

You team is a team that doesn't get much pub but your defense is always tough, which is the best thing you can say about a D. Our Offense looks completely out of it, it simply wasn't like this last season. I think the absence of Rice moves Harvin to the outside when he is best in a Welker role. Brett has some terrible plays.

We pretty much dominated the game just like last we week but we could not score points and put the game away and we shot ourselves in the foot too often.

I think our game plan was to pressure Favre into making mistakes which he did and contain AD as much as posible which was difficult to do.He is scary good.

The Vikes are still a good team.Good luck for the rest of the season.

You're welcome to your opinion. Some how I think you were wishing, you were playing another back when ad was getting hit and still gashing the D. How did CJ do this week? Against the best defenses int the league is averages 100+ hards, Steelers, Ravens, Saints, Phins.....while CJ beats up on oakland, the texans, the Colts and the Jags.

Classy post. Yes, Adrian Peterson is an absolute MAN. The run where he tripped and kept going and the hurdle play were awesome. Just glad that we made stops when it counted.

As an aside, we've got to have one of the best percentages of not allowing TDs when the opponent has the ball inside our 5 in the entire NFL the past few years.

I feel like we should've won this game by a lot more. Unfortunately getting the INT and the turnover on downs and starting inside our own 3 twice really put our offense in a hole. Obviously there were some head-scratchers: why Ricky and not Ronnie when backed into our endzone the 2nd time?; why the Wild-Cat when the base running offense was moving the ball in the 2nd quarter? Should've been at least 10-0 at half.

Hopefully the offensive execution picks it up. Game balls to Jake Long, Kendall Langford, and our two CBs, Jason Allen and Vontae Davis.

Actually, going in, I didn’t think Peterson would win the game for you guys, and I was right. Favre lost it with his 3 INTs and 0 TDs, and Peterson only put up 1 TD. Great day for his fantasy owners, though. (Glad I wasn’t going up against one!)

One game doesn’t a career make, and it certainly doesn’t mar his resume. Peterson has had bad games too.

Thanks man. You guys put up a good fight too. Peterson is pretty ridiculous out there. Because of his fumbles though, I still give the edge to Johnson as the better back.

Hope you stick around with us even though our game is done!

    Good game brother.

Adrian Peterson is a monster. He was other-worldly on that one drive in the fourth quarter. AP was gashing us and we were getting tired. Great job by Minnesota going hurry up on that drive. I wasn't even upset because nobody could have stopped that onslaught. Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to greatness.

I think he's the best back in the league. We locked down CJ with our beat up D last season. PIT held him to 34 yards today. You see what AP did to a very good run defense today.

We were fortunate not to have to face Sidney Rice. But you guys are still legit, and as such I think our defense passed another test.

Was extremely surprised that we were able to run the ball. And Jake Long on a gimpy knee had that good a game against #69. Again, there might not be a better DE in the league. So another test passed in my view.

OT: that dome rocks. One of the best crowds in the league.

As concerned as some of us are here with our passing game you guys must be extremely nervous. Favre looks worn and his WR corp. looks inept. If he didn't have Shiancoe I don't know who Favre would look to.

you guys HAVE to be hoping for the Vincent Jackson rumors to be true.

Good luck the rest of the year Purple People Eater.

good game. thanks for the sportsmanship. very good teams can stretch those 60 minutes out and beat your ***, just when you think you have it locked up. that almost happened to us today.

Toche'! But as a Vikes fan, it's not close. One guys is talented, the other is a Man among Boys. One our runs you... the other can outrun you or run you over. I think AD faces better defenses in the NFC than CJ in his division...which is allergic to stopping the run.

AP and CJ are #1a and 1b #RB's in the league. Both different styles, both very dangerous. But yeah, AP is a different kind of beast. Classy post by TP, i wish them the best the rest of the year.

I'm not sure any other back in the league would have got over 100 yards yesterday against our defence, AP was brilliant. It's not like his OL were making holes for him, he was making defenders miss in the backfield and still gaining good yards. He nearly always made yards after contact, an absolute nightmare to bring down.

Yesterday was the kind of performance that had everyone marking AP down for the HOF. Every time he touched the ball I held my breath.
