i give them a wildcard, since it was AP, the best back in the league, we all saw what he did and he does it to everybody, i´m not concerned yet

Its my impression Dansby's more comfortable with Crowder, and I'd like to see if a chemistry exists, that allows each to elevate their game. Either way, I think his return relieves Dansby from some responsibiliity, and allows him more latitude to focus on his play.

Maybe we should resign eric green, gibril wilson, and jamar fletcher......seems mike nolan has a good way of making asstastic football players turn into all-pros over night!

The fact that Armando stated he is taking 1st team reps with Dobbins makes me think he is at 100% or nearly there (possibly for Sunday). I imagine he will rotate in, on 3rd downs, and slowly transition into the starting role. TBH, I would hate for him to take plays away from Carpenter, but if that is the way he is going to get up to speed and take the job from Dobbins...ehh..so be it. Never was a fan of Crowder but he brings more passion and hopefully with Dansby next to him...some big plays.

When you have a Ford on the freeway next to a Ferrari, does the Ford look faster?

If he takes snaps away from Dobbins, so be it. As long as he doesn't take snaps from Carpenter we'll be fine. As Carpenter is the nickel guy and neither Dobbins or Crowder fit that role IMO.

Here's my thing with Crowder, at worst, for this week, that dude HATES the Jets. So we all know for at least this game, he would play his @#$ off.

After that, then we just see how he does in given situations. At some point, we'll have to move somebody. 4 inside backers is a bit much. I'd love to be able to move one for an extra pick or something, but realistically it would be us cutting one of them.

DJ, I think his problem is not so much his athleticism, as I think he has quite a bit of it, but rather... not playing sound and intelligent football and his previous role. In a second fiddle role I see the coaches saying: CC go make plays and forget about calling the D. Recently, he has not made many plays, but I feel it is due to the role he had to play in calling the D. Let us see what he can do with that off his plate.

i dont think thats the issue, crowder is very smart, he had one of the best wonderlics in his draft class of LB´s, IIRC
