We currently only have 52 players on the 53 man roster.

I was wondering about this too. I anticipated a call up of a linemen from the PS if we have on. Maybe even Micah Johnson if need be.

Anyone know the status of Odrick? I assume he is out so perhaps they keep that open for a late week roster fill in.

Let's claim Mickey Shuler, as he was recently cut by the Vikes.

Odrick is one of the 52. We cannot put him on the PUP or IR so we have to carry him on the 53 man roster and make him inactive on game day until he is healthy. That is the very purpose of the inactive list.

Same goes for Crowder. He has been on the 53 man roster since the beginning of the season, and he has been inactive both games.

I was thinking we might bring back Micah Johnson too. But we already have four inside linebackers. Dansby, Carpenter, Dobbins, and Crowder. We still only have two tight ends, and one of them is undrafted rookie Jeron Mastrud. Is a trade in the works?

Yeah, they called me last week and asked me to sign...and I was all for it until they said I had to drop 40 pounds, stop talking trash on the internet, move my family back to Miami, and come in as a backup on special teams.

I have standards....no way I'm going to stop talking trash on the internet for that!

Miami is probably waiting for the injuries to sort them selves out. With Jerry, Crowder and IAF coming off illness or injury, Dolphins seem to waiting until the last day to see who can play and who needs a backup.

Did the Butler do in in the pantry?

Sorry, could not help myself with Colonel Mustard on the team.

My guess is they add a practice squad player

I would think Carroll would get his shot at kick returns, but maybe we sign Julius Pruitt from the practice squad to do it?
