The court system can lock you up for the most inane **** now so don't worry about it. I don't know this Fireman Ed d-bag and neither do you. Who cares what happens to him or any of the lucky SOBs who get to afford season tickets
The Giants fan was arrested at that game, and banned from the stadium. They left Fireman Ed alone. Sounds like Ed is getting his just due. I'm surprised some of you guys calling it a simple shove. The Giants fan did not make one single move towards Ed except try to climb up next to him. Ed clearly shoves him 3 times. The second time very strongly, the third time with his helmet. Yet the Giants fan gets arrested and banned from the stadium. Weird? Why wouldn't he get charged. Look at it again. Those last two shoves were not "pardon me, I believe you may be standing in my spot." http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2010/09/jets_fan_fireman_ed_anzalone_c.html
I didn't know he got arrested and thrown our of the stadium. That's total horse schit and now I can sorta see why charges were filed. He had every right to be up there next to Ed.
Its men being men wtf neither should get in trouble no punches thrown, the giants guy getting thrown was a knee jerk reaction EDIT: I watched it again if some ******* comes in my stadium id give a friendly shove also this is nothing Ed was a nice guy imo
I appreciate where you are coming from and if it was me there would simply have been a fight had I been shoved like that. But still there was nothing "friendly" about that shove(s). Also hearing that the giants fan was actually thrown out of the game for getting shoved I have no problems with the charges being filed.
Giants fan wasn't arrested. Jesus Christ. This whole thread is epic fail. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Hmm one of the threads from a pretty solid poster said he was arrested and banned. Either way it still doesn't give Ed the right to shove anyone. As for the thread being epic fail. If you truly feel that way stay the hell out of it. Pretty simple solution don't you think?
Fair enough, but you should at least get your facts straight. Banned, yes. Arrested? No. I always thought the reputation of NYers being tough was kind of funny. But based on these reactions, I guess we might have thicker skin that people from other regions. And I am not being a wiseass when I say this: if that act was really offensive to you, do yourself a favor and don't go to a sporting event for a NY sports team. Seriously. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
That I am not 100% sure of that, but how in the world could they ever enforce it? Do you think they have WANTED signs at all the gates Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Dont know how they would enforce it. I guess all it would take is one fan pointing him out. So I got to say bro that's way harsher than what Ed is going to go through. Unless he is found guilty and banned himself. The giant fan from the video did NOTHING to get banned. all he did was try and get up on the same spot so they both could start cheers for their respective teams. He never once shoved back (from the videos) so for him to receive a ban and Let Ed walk is completely unbalanced. I have been a fan and going to games since I was 8 years old. I'm 46 now. So if I had gotten a lifetime ban for being shoved I would be pissed and I would imagine you would be as well.
I would never have been in that position because that was a really dicked move. I've seen guys get punched out for doing crap like that. But I will agree that a lifetime ban, albeit unenforceable, is way over the line. He shouldn't even have been kicked out. I'm 42 and been a season ticket holder since '89. Nice to talk to another "senior". I remember when there was no Fireman Ed. The J E T S chant used to alternate endzones. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Help me out here. What was the dick move? was it that he was trying to do the same thing that Ed was doing? Like it or not you guys share that stadium with the Giants. So as I see it he had as much right to get up there and start a giants cheer as Ed did.
Again I don't see the seriousness they barely touched eachother it was a friendly shove like yo i get ya now get the **** out of here!
It doesn't matter that they share the stadium. If the guy had a ticket, he had a right to be there. But walking down and standing in front of another person's seat is not his right. And trying to lead a cheer in a section of the opposing team's fans is asking for trouble. If I could march up your seats in Landshark stadium, stand up on a seat and start trying to lead a Jets cheer without catching one ounce of ****.....well then God bless you Miami fans. I need to make the trip next year So to summarize, the dicked move was trying to incite an incident, which he did. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Not only was it a Jets fan, but it was that A-hole, Fireman Ed. So that makes the whole thing worthy of 20 to life. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
I got to agree with the ****ing Jet fan wtf hell is freezing over The giant guy was drunk couldnt even stand up to do his cheer. Ed walked away after a push when the guy fell into him i see this as dumb. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDmOXXvThcw&feature=player_embedded#!
Why are the cops and DA wasting their time on this? They should focus more on the players driving around drunk and putting innocent lives at risk.
That is exactly why it's hilarious. The little hobbit tool is actually complaining to stadium security pointing to the guy like he tried to throw him out of his seat or something. That walkway and railing is a common area and quite frankly, I'm sure there are regulations set by the stadium which makes climbing up on railings viloation of stadium conduct policy for attendees. Yet here is Mr. Mensa complaining to security about it and in addition HE IS THE ONE initiating aggressive contact. What an arsehat. He's the epitiome of the ignorant mouth breather Jet fans. He truly does represent Jet Nation.
Let me tell you about Fireman Ed. I know his in-laws. He cheated on his now ex-wife when she was suffering with cancer. He's a grade A sack of **** who deserves nothing but the worst.
Giants fan was wearing an Armani Toomer jersey... ... I think Giants fan started it, was looking for trouble, looking to incite a riot, and was fortunate he didn't get the crap kicked out of him. What Ed did wasn't right either. But Toomer started it. And him getting banned (perhaps if only for that game) resolved the matter.
Unless you have pictures of him banging someone else while he was married, you have nothing but heresay. Defamation—also called calumny, vilification, slander (for transitory statements), and libel (for written, broadcast, or otherwise published words)—is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative image. It is usually a requirement that this claim be false and that the publication is communicated to someone other than the person defamed (the claimant).[1] You really need to be careful there, Vinny.
OMG, that guy is such an a-hole. Funny thing is, I noticed he had his own little perch or whatever. Guess he's upgraded from what was it Pagan said...rubbing his balls on the back of another man's head for three hours?
Indeed, I concur. An unwanted touching = assault. Plain and simple, whether it looked severe or not. The season that keeps on giving...if only we got some Patriots into this party.
Had he (from what I am hearing no confirmation) ratted out the gaints fan and got him banned I would probably lean towards this is just a funny incident. But "IF" the above is true then its more of a redemption and more power to him.
I don't need a Wiki Link. I was a CJ major. I'm also a good friend of the family of the in law. No ****. Kid grew up across the street from me in Bensonhurst. They would drive to New Jersey to see his sick aunt on the regular. Which part do you find skeptical? Which part would you like to challenge this guy I've known my entire life and his mom on? The fact she (The Aunt) had cancer or that he (Ed) started banging some ***** half his age while his wife suffered? It's just a community service announcement: The Patron Saint of the Jets is a piece of ****.
