Tino Sunseri is a decent QB. Only a sophomore though. Of course they have Jonathan Baldwin catching the ball though and he's a beast.
Yes. He has to have more deep balls picked than anyone in college football. He seems to have it made up in his mind where he's going pre-snap, especially on deep balls, and he'll let it fly no matter what, when he should go through his progressions or check down. He also has a noodle arm. He's also a great athlete, who never uses it to his advantage.
I'm only catching glimpses of this game, but I saw the deep picked. That wasn't a terrible decision as a bad pass. The play where you guys had the holding, and then pitts offside and then a Harris pass into double coverage. I thought that was interesting, I figured someone else should be open
What's funny is that he seems to get a boatload of completions when the WR is getting triple teamed. Always makes me cringe.
That was a bad pass. Harris usually is pretty accurate though and throws one of the most catchable balls in college football with his spiral and touch. However like I said, not a very good decision maker. Seems to have an idea where to throw pre snap and sticks with it no matter if the WR is triple covered or not. Doesn't go through his progressions. Has a weak arm, not much velocity on his throws. And never scrambles, even though he's a pretty good athlete. Seriously that's one of the things that piss me off the most. There's times when he can pick up some pretty good gains if he runs the ball, but he never does.
It's Wanny's team. When the offensive philosophy consists of run, run, run, punt it's not hard to get 3 and outs.
I think we need to score on this drive...the D has been playing great but I want room for comfort with Lewis waiting to break out.
