Yes, I know the Pro Bowl doesn't mean too much in the grand scheme of things, and I know it's a long way from now. Individual accolades mean way less than a Super Bowl Victory, to which I hope the whole team can get themselves a ring.

Based on his 3rd/4th down conversions last year alone Polite deserves to make it. This year he only has 16 yards. In a game of inches can anyone doubt the importance of those 16 yards knowing what Polite does for this team?

The man sustains drives, period. I'm starting a signature campaign. A member on here suggested more people put polite in their signature, and I am obliging. At least on our own forums we can give this man some love.

nice sig! He's definitely the most un-appreciated member on our team according to what he does for this team. he's definitely a game changer. He's kept a lot of our drives going. He's the only flawless miami dolphin that i know of!

i think if we would use him more than for just 3rd,4th and 1 or for blocking then he definately deserves it.i know he can catch the ball but we never throw to him so i think that hurts his chances of probowl fullback as there a a couple others that do it all more than he does for us.also he vary rarely gets more than the one or 2 yards needed when called upon.he starts breaking for 8-12 yard gains and our offense throws to him a little more and he will definately be noticed by the rest of the league as one of the best fullbacks in football.

While I concur, recall that play during Minnesota where Sparano called his number in an effort to get a 1st on 3rd and long. What he said may be bs, but if anything it shows there is increasing trust in using him in other capacities.

    Edit: Campaign strengthened!!!

Best Blocking FB in the game, hell he is probably one of the best overall FBs in the NFL.

I disagree, as much as I love polite he isnt the best blocking fullback in the game. That goes to richardson (cant remember his first mane) of the jets

Tough to argue with names such as A.Hall (Titans), L.McClain (Ravens), new guy on the Jets that Rex was raving about (aside from Richardson) are some to keep in mind. Nonetheless, I agree one of the best overall in a Lorenzo Neal mold. I just wish he was a little younger but w/e.

I would love to see him get some goal line touches though. If he goes in for a td I will erupt!!!

Edit: Finsincebirth: "Tony" He is aging though. Polite can take the reins soon enough.

if we just would go play action on that typical polite carry on 2nd or 3rd and 1 from time to time would be nice

mike sellers, greg jones, leonard weaver(although i think he recently had surgery on his leg)and b.j askew to name a few more but i wouldn't neccisarily put askew up ahead of polite.

lolol Ricky...he is drinking beers in retirement. If I were to compare great FBs of recent memory to Polite it would have to be Lorenzo Neal, as I stated, or possibly Tony Richardson. Mike Alstott was, imo, essentially a RB much like Le'Ron McClain of BAL, though I think McClain makes a better case for being a true FB.

I was at the Dolphins team store and asked for a Polite Tshirt.

    The Lady said 'who?'

    I angrily replied LOOUUUUUUUU.

    She had no idea.

True or not (and I have no reason to suspect a lie) this is the exact reason I started this thread.

He gets play on TV...seems every time he touches the ball they talk about his perfection in the 3rd and 4th and 1 yard to go situations.
