Padre, you are giving someone else a pass. We watched as Bonamengo was given NOTHING to work with in the preseason. Guys were shuffled in and out. Yeah, turning over the bottom of the roster is a good thing. But it's not a good thing at the expense of your special teams. With Westhoff on the other sideline, we should have seen this coming a mile away.
That missed tackle on Smith was a back breaker, add in he was on skates in coverage and YB had a bad night. Big picture though, Henne and Beast married this evening, it sucks that we lost, but the two are finally on the same page.

If it really takes you weeks to get over a game, then for your mental and physical health you should never watch a game again. I'm not saying that to be a jerk, i'm just saying that because someone who cares about you should of told you that years ago.

Nope, that blocked punt was inexcusable, the kick coverage was inexcusable, if Tony Masser was canned for ethereal reasons, Bonamego should be on the chopping block as well.
Just like Peyton Manning was judged by his INT at the end of the Bowl last year, playcalling isn't about how much yards you gain. It's about when you need something to call, when you have that one shot to take it all, what will you do? Henning can put up all the numbers he wants but if the guy can't make the right call at the crucial moment, the rest of the game is null and void. Dan Marino beasted the NFL for about 16 years and the only thing people can talk about is the lack of a ring. This game is played on 3rd down, in the last 2 minutes and in the red-zone. If you can only convert on 1 of those 3, then you should only get payed 1/3 of your salary.
Any time Henne and the offense was in rhythm he brought out the WC to kill the drive. The worst was inside the redzone not trying Ronnie or Ricky instead throwing it on the 2. Throwing a fade to Hartline. He is awful I'm quite confident I'm missing some plays but he is garbage. I hope he costs more games so he never calls plays for us again.

They tried covering him with Sean Smith early in the game. I think that he was yanked after their first score. I think this team had a plan to blitz Sanchez. Keller killed that idea EARLY.

Naah, I've been hyped and not thinking as well Ozman, after the Texans loss I recieved two dings and a near ban for going off of the chain, we all are kinda heated up at the moment so maybe it is better if everyone just doesn't take what is said right now to seriously? we lost a close game. we didnt get smoked. It hurts but i put my razor away im being serious, anyone that went to jetnation or gang green man up and congrat them . be better than they were to us. we'll get em next time!
Offense did their jobs with the crappy play calling. Henne was solid all night. His accuracy and timing was improved tonight. Our WRs were great. All made clutch catches when needed. Defense was just all over the place. Pass rush wasn't there tonight. Run defense looked lost at times. Secondary blew it multiple times. Special teams aside from Fields was horrible. I liked Bess returning punts again, but Cobbs has got to go. You just can't bulldozed your way through the coverage, buddy. Carp has been off with his kickoffs since the season started...what's up with that? Cut your hair, hippy.

I don't know. I didn't watch hard knocks. I don't know their special teams. I do know that their ST coach is better than ours though. The point that I was attempting to make is that I have NEVER seen so much roster turnover that had such an effect on special teams. Every year there were guys that you just knew would make the team based upon special teams play. I didn't see that this year. I saw a race to catch up for what we were lacking at the END of the preseason. I expected this mess in the first game.
yup think about it. sanchez played the best he will ever ****ing play against us. and we still almost took the game. No way he matches this performance. we control destiny. we keep winning, and beat them by more than 4 and we take the division. no doubts. on to new england!
