To be fair, Sparano has gone 4-2 in the division in both of his years here, and he’s 1-1 so far.

But yes, we absolutely need to win against the Patriots next week. 3-1 with a 2-1 division record is vastly superior to 2-2 with a 1-2 division record.

The Sparano post-game interview was enlightening. He sort of professed some confidence in Henne.

Cmon', Des. There are still 13 games left, man. Feel free to tune in to something else Monday and on if that's the attitude after one loss.

Keep the faith. This was a tough loss, but we got some game tape and things to improve upon. Henne showed promise.

I hate that we lost, but I feel pretty good about our offence all of the sudden. I was glad to see Henne uncuffed, and perfom well. Its been awhile since Ive seen Miamis offence look so unvanilla. I was truly entertained for most of the game. I hope to see more of that from here on out!!!

Absurdity. All of it. This was our biggest game so far without a doubt. If you dont realize that, then that says more about you than I ever can.

Its not about going 16-0. Its about winning games you should win. We dont. Still. We didn't last year against NO and Indy, we arent this year. The Jets put up 31 points on us. Sugar coat it all you want. Talk about it all you want. The final stat is...they found a way to win, we found a way to lose. That is all that matters.

Everybody learns more from their losses than from their victories. If the team looks at this loss and learns more about what they do well and what areas they can improve on then it increases their chances of winning in the future.

How is this game any bigger than hosting the Pats next week?

Here's a big negative stat.. If our defensive players could catch the football on just an average level, our defense would have four more INT'S, and 3 defensive TD'S.

Ahhhh you just beat me to it....I saw the same thing, I might even say 5 INTs if clemons doesn't go for 15 yd penalty hit on the post pattern and focused on the ball instead.

Not sure how Sparano/Nolan can get this part of the execution improved, but defenders are definitely in position to make big plays....they just had a big 0-fer last night.

Entertained... are you kidding?. I would much rather see a game where we win scoring 15 points than what I witnessed last night. I think a lot of the fan base are more interested in Henne and Marshall's stats than they are about winning the football game. I understand the necessity to pass when you are down 14-0 but once we were back in it establish a running game which they never did. Run Ronnie Brown from a base formation instead of the predictable wild cat crap. Anyways I feel sick and depressed today from the loss and don't see much good from last night. You got to see Henne air it out and that will pacify most but there are no moral victories in this game. We lost plain and simple and getting into a shootout is the worst place you want to be.

Lol....entertained?....That word never enter's my mind when it comes to the dolphin's..

Sparano's favorite word is efficiency, maybe he better have Henning write it out on the chalk board a hundred times..The way he called his goal line situation's were anything but..

Its harsh to say there wasnt any positives. You need at least 2 of the units to have a good game and put up a convincing win. When the Special Teams keep putting you in a hole and the Defense cant get any pressure on their QB its asking alot for the Offense to bail you out. Henne, Marshall, Bess, Hartline, Fasano and the pass blocking almost pulled it out of the bag. It was a decent effort from those guys. Just a shame we cant put a whole package together where they all play to a good consistent level. Maybe we will against the Pats. Im positive.
