They never gave us a real chance.....but I heard it..anyway's, I sure can't blame our fan's, they were ready, but the defense did not play like their new nickname, and never allowed us to reach a true apex..

The Jets beat us without their 2 best players...That's what bother's me.

The fact that Henne played well, and the team around him not so much, gives him an edge as he continues to asert himself as our leader....He can pretty much start to order them around a little, he's allowed now, he played at a higher level than most of them did in a big game..

What I cannot understand is this...Before the situation arise's, the cordinator must know what he's gonna do on down and distance during certain scenario's..

when you have 3 play's to pick up 2 yards, then regardless of where you are on the field, you must clear your mind, and call the best three play's that enable you to pick up those 2 yard's..That is what you do, especially considering the clock at that time. you dont throw low percentage fades, and risky slant's, you pick 3 PLAY'S THAT WILL PICK YOU UP 2 YARD'S..Its a percentage game at that point, and 3 strait running, or 3 strait ronnie wildcat run's is a no brainer..

This to me shows lack of attention to detail..you should have 3 play's scripted in that scenario.I mean if I have 2nd and 2, and I know I have 3 plays to pick it up, you can't tell me the logic is in throwing fades and slants...You've got to feel that your best way of picking that up in our offense, is behind your best player Jake Long.

I think that is an alarming mistake by a coach.jmo.

Henne and his wide receiver's played well, those 3 guy's are the untouchable's this week.

Hartline showed some speed, I saw a few flashes..

I think Sanchez played well, the way he handles the ball, and his footwork, are excellent..That throw against Jallen on the penalty was his best..

Ricky didn't look right before the fumble..not sure what's goin on up there, lol

were not a complete team, and there needs to be a nickname for our special team's?..lol.

We never recovered on defense, the whole game. It seemed like the really poor special teams kept us from reaching pivitol stands, and momentum during the game...and Henning just doesn't compartmentalize down and distance in a way that is efficient..I also think the Jets were the more physical team tonight.

I want my first round draft pick back on the field...

We've still got building and developing to do.

Nice gay halftime show buddy....Hate that song, and that dude..,,BABY I LIKE IT!!!!OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER.

Its year 3... we've got work to do....

Hard to figure out if that was a performance of youth, or Sanchez completely schooled us.

Youth on D showed up Deej, and the speed didn't show up.

We all figured they would try to attack the edges of the D but the D didn't respond very well.

i think a few of their offensive lineman might have saved their franchise by holding our d-lineman when they were clearly beat. could have been a different game and a different sanchez if we would have hit him a few times.

I think the defense was simply overwhelmed early and never found solid footing....that dropped screen pass INT still blows me away.....he had both hands on a ball moving 3 MPH!!!

I think the positives on offense far outweighed the shortcomings on defense though; when Miami had to move the ball they did so ridiculously well. Why we didn't run inside the red zone is a completely different story....but you definitely can't fault Henne or any player on the offense for that matter.

I've tried to defend Henning over and over again the past few weeks, and although I was right about him opening up Henne this week I also think that he easily lost the game for us. We should have seen Polite or Ronnie run behind Jake Long 4 plays in a row (if necessary) and then power behind him one again for the 2 pt conversion....why we didn't play to our strengths is mind-boggling. Even the Wildcat would have put a TD on the board at the end of the game....it's like he finally saw the success of the pass game and forgot about everything else (although I enjoyed seeing Brown's long run at the start of the drive....that was a bold, but sadly predictible Henning call).

This team has a very bad habit of not playing well at home.

I don't think the Jets were more physical. I do think they were smarter, however.

Special teams were a mess, no doubt about it, but to me the pivotal failures unfortunately happened to Jason Allen. His bad angle and slippage on the first play after we had crawled back to take the lead was deflating, especially when we could have taken command right there. And then his overplaying of coverage on the critical 3rd down on the Jets last TD drive was a killer.

It is the youth. Too many distractions for young players when playing at home. I would not be surprised if we smoke them in Jersey. I do think we can beat the Patriots at home though.

Special Teams cost us the game imho. Kickoff out of bounds? WTF? Again? Blocked Punt? Letting Smith run all over us? All this shuffling of players and this is the product they put out there that is supposed to be called Special? Try again.
