Bingo Bango. Those holds probably saved them multiple fumbles and/or turnovers as well.

JT did the same sack dance he's always done. I see nothing wrong with that.

Marino is the one that advised JT that regardless of how much he loved the Dolphins that he should go play for the Jets b/c it was his only option after Miami pulled their contract offers b/c JT didn't say yes quickly enough and/or without speaking to his agent. Players and anybody who knows the industry understand that JT did nothing wrong. It's only the fans with their simplistic understanding that have been critical.

I think the announcer made it perfectly clear who JT was taunting...it was just a little hello message to Bill Parcells and I think it was completely justified.

Taylor should still be in Miami, period. The fact that we showed loyalty to Pennington (which is well deserved, don't get me wrong) but not the current NFL sack leader still boggles my mind....but I guess it's because Penny led the Fins under Parcells and Taylor didn't.

As much as I love the Fins and scream my head off for them every week, I am estatic that Taylor picked up that sack. It wasn't a game-changer by any means and he was still able to get his point across, so kudos to him. In my mind he sacked Parcells, and it was a necessary evil.

Jason Taylor didn't do anything different then what he does. He also laid Henne on the ground, where he could have knocked the crap out of him on that sack.

It just depends... at a certain point its kind of like, what is 12 million more going to get me? It's not like JT is hurting for money, or his family will probably ever be hurting for money. At a certain point in your career I think you need to put honor and pride above money.

I have mixed feelings about JT. I'll have to re-evaluate it personally when he's not a Jet. But if I were in his shoes, I don't think I would have pulled the trigger, personally.

Still find the theory of him going to the Jets simply because no one else wanted him funny, did he sign the eve of the regular season? One of the best pass rushers the last decade with at least some still left in the tank and he wouldn't have garnered interest from one other team? Jets, CFL, and retirement were his only options? So much of the story none of us will really know, and I acknowledge that, but I think he felt disrespected and what better way for payback than to go to the biggest rival. Chase a ring, play pass rusher in a top defense, and play your old team twice.

Wasn't a fan of JT and going to the Jets but figured it'd be a bad memory when he retires and comes back as a Dolphin, I'd forgive him. Between the celebration (everyone will have their own opinion but in mine no way that was a routine celebration, it was personal and reminded me of Daunte Culpepper pointing to his knee) and the gatorade dumping he can stay right where he is.

I woke up this morning and felt the same way as I did last night when I was drunk.

I've had a JT jersey since the 99 season. I'd wear it randomly with my Madison, Marino, and Thomas jerseys during games (stopped buying jerseys after I got out of high school) but I do not think I will ever put on his jersey ever again.

He can go to the HOF as a Jet as far as I'm concerned. Like it matters to him what one person thinks, but I don't think I'm alone either.

Read my post again, I have no issue with the money side of it, just that he went to the Jests at all. If you want to offer me 13 Million to say something different, as soon as it post to my account I will back JT 100%. Until then, he is a %&$ IMHO

So, after we removed the contract from the table and he had no other choices but to go to the Jets, what was he supposed to do? You expect him to not play because of Dolphins fans? The same fan base that turned their back on him when he went to Washington? The same fan base he came back to play for turning down a lot of money in Washington because he loved this city?

I find it laughable to say "what's the difference between 12 million and 1 million." Financial security. THat's the difference. If you had the opportunity to work a job where you're going to get paid 1 million or 12 million and have to do the same work in both places, which would you take? But that's not even a consideration since we took the contract off the table.

To the poster that said that if he would have waited he would have garnered interest as the season drew closer, you don't know that and neither did he. It's a tough economy for everyone. If you're unemployed and you're offered a job making good money are you going to turn it down because you MIGHT get a job offer in a couple months?

Jason Taylor bled aqua and orange for over a decade. He played at a high level as he watched management staff after management staff waste the careers of himself, zach thomas, tim bowens, sam madison and pat surtain. And now, when we no longer want him and he goes to try to find work you want to tear him down because he went to the only team that wanted him that just so happen to be the Jets.

What the hell do you want out of this man? Get over yourselves. The NFL is a business, he made a business decision. And anyone on this site, or in the world, you would tell you they would turn down 11 million extra dollars is a liar. Put yourself in his shoes before you judge.

Sometimes the people here disgust me

Jason Taylor is making Jets fans accept him a little easier. I love the guy now. Some friends of mine still hate his guts.

It's $12 more million for his kids' kids. Family above all else. The Dolphins had their chance to keep him, they didn't want to at a reasonable price, after he played for us at a VERY reasonable price already. So he walked. I see no shame, no shame in that.

You guys discount the fact he played at almost what, a league minimum already? He already gave up multiple millions, and yall are asking him to give up even more. Giving a hometown discount is all fine and dandy. NOT when that discount is over 92%. If you make $100,000 at your job would you work for your employer if they said they are paying you $8,000 next year? Even if you were well off unless it's a charity I would say F-U.

You should man. He's still a very decent player. Not dominate like he was but he's still good enough to bust up 1-2 drives a game.

Seeing him sack Henne was really really strange for me. Almost like if Marino had played for another team and thrown a TD against us. Except it's not just some team it's the f'in Jets.

Putting his arms up to the fans (and it was at the fans too even if it was at Parcells as well) "They booed and I smiled" well JT I hope in the end when Dolphins fans don't love you anymore, and the Jets fans hate you again after using you, you'll wonder if it was worth it in the long run.

His dance hasn't change in 12 years. Nothing he could have done after the sack would make some of you happy.

If you were paid $1 million to wear a Dolphin Jersey for one year or $12 million to wear a jet one for a year, you wouldn't wear the jet one? I would wear it for a year then $h!t on it and laugh my butt off all the way to the bank. It wouldn't change my love for the Phins. $11 million is alot of difference.

Trowa....Please save this awesome post and paste it everytime someone mentions JT's name. :theman:

The Gatorade thing i thought was PATHETIC. I blame Ryan for that. Couldnt even work out why he did it. Not as though JT won the game for them was it? All it did was make JT look even worse infront of the very fans who cheered his a## over the years. I wouldnt be suprised if JT secretly didnt appreciate that classless action from Rex Ryan.

The first thought in my mind when Mark Sanchez tossed us victory in the fourth quarter and Kendall Langford knocked it to the ground was that JT makes that a TD ten out of ten times. Seeing him in green makes me want to puke.

These coaches talk on camera saying how they respect other ogranizations and hold their opponents in high esteem, but that's 100% crap. I think it was Rex's way of saying, "I'm all professional and such so I can't laugh in your faces, but this should do the trick to show how I really feel."

    Plausable deniability.
