I appreciate you being honest and realistic. Far too many are not. Excuse here, excuse there, excuse on top, underneath, on the side....stop it. We had a chance to win a big game...and we blew it. We had them coming into our house after our best week of practice in two years...Two years...they were in turmoil from losing players to players getting in trouble and not starting....and this is how this team responded. By losing. Losers lose. We lost to the colts last year at home...we lost to the Saints last year at home...both games we shoulda won. but we did not.

Marshall and Dansby...a net minus. We beat the Jets twice last year without them....couldnt beat them this year with them. Even though there were without Revis and Pace, and Edwards suspended for a qtr.

If i am the owner, I want to know why I am paid so much money to get less? Why is this team not winning games that we should win? Why arent we getting over the hump? Who can answer this?

    Losers lose..bottom line.

    1) We still get another shot at them later in the season, so don't jump off a cliff...

    2) Yes, Pace and Revis didn't play...but the Phins did take advantage and they had a pretty good offensive game.

    Well away from here
You took the words out of my mouth.

So after 3 games we're a 2nd rate team? After we've had the best start since Nick Saban's first year here over the first 3 games and we're a second rate team?

How about we let Henne get past what just was his 16th start and Nolan have and company have more than 3 games under their belt before we do this. You don't win championships in week 3, but you can certainly hurt your chances by going 0-3; something we are not.

    Well away from here
Chances are if you're exhibiting this type of behavior after the 3rd week of the season, then quite frankly I'd have a hard time believing you'd be in a position to own a team in the first place.

Just remember only one team ever has won every game. Just one. So you should expect to lose games, likely more than 1, or 2, or 3, or 4, or 5 even and still consider yourself a good team. If you can't handle losing a close, good hard fought game then so be it. It's 1 game and we still have 13 more to go.......we haven't even gotten a quarter of the way through the season.

We lived through 1-15 yet we are doing this after starting 2-1? What should we do if we go to 2-2?

Just food for thought, but the top 2 seeds in each conference have never actually met in their respective conference championship games. That means every year one team that is not in the Top 2 seeds is playing for the right to play in the super bowl. I think we need to let this season actually occur first before we know what we are.

There are no elite teams in the NFL, just a bunch of very good ones. Parity is still here, same as last year when we gave the two Super Bowl teams all they could handle.

We are a very young team, and better than last season. It will take some time for all these new players to show what they can do.

IF we can finish the first half at at least 4-4, Watch Out. Our second half schedule is much easier, and our team will be much better.

I believe we should wait until November to actually see who is who. There have been many teams who start well and go nowhere.

Yeah, we should trade Marshall and Dansby. They are not making any difference, other than a negative one. Think we can get a few late round picks?

Even better, maybe we can trade one or both to get Ginn back. He beat the Jets by himself last year.

    LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year we went 0-3 to start the year off, allowed 68 points, and fielded 43.

This year we are 2-1 with 51 allowed and 52 fielded.

We lost a game we should have won... and we're .750. There are only two teams that have the advantage on us in standings in the AFC, and thats the Steelers (3-0) and the Jets (only by .5 games).

Our investment in Dansby and Marshall have been a HUGE part of the reason we are 2-1, and not 1-2, or 0-3.

I was pretty depressed after our loss to the Jets too, but I'm willing to wait to see if this team clicks on both sides of the ball before writing them off. You should too.

No!! You choose to think what reality is and truth be told, you have no clue how this season will play out.

You do know one thing though. This team is good enough and if it's second rate then so are 31 other teams because at this point how many are 2-1 ?

At this rate we finish 11-5 or 10-6. I'll take it, won't you?

Dude I'm going to say this as well about us not being elite. Yeah we gave up points at home, and we all knew our defense was going to struggle.

You overlook the fact that we scored 24 points against one of the best defense's in the league. Touted the best defense in the league, though I would argue Pitt is better. On top of that we left 2 TD's on the 5 yard line because of poor play calling.

We might not be elite just yet, but we are well on the way. I think you get Channing and Jared healthy, some of our younger players (including Henne) a little more experience and all of the sudden we are right on the brink of elite.

Technically, we are a half a game out of first place in the AFC East right now. We have to beat NE because no matter how hard they try, no way Buffalo beats the Jets, at home, away, in Guam or even if they played in Canada. If they do beat the Jets, I will be the first to eat any amount of crow you deem fit to eat.

Umm, the Bills have yet to be blown out this year, and they really didn't look that bad against the Pats. Every single year the Bills ultimately decide the division because they sneak up and win 1 huge divisional game...so why not against the Jets this time around?

Of course it's a longshot at best, but just in case I'm going crow hunting tommorrow. If the Bills pull off the miracle, you may choose frickaseed or barbecued.

Funny. I took you for a moron who pulls statements out of his hind parts without any kind of supporting facts whatsoever. And then gets confused when everyone doesn't catch on to the genius of his POV. Then blames everyone's disagreement on some intellectual flaw of the masses. C'mon man. Are you smarter than us all? Really? I think not. If you need a little comforting after a tough loss, so be it. But these senseless rants about a 2-1 team make you sound like an idiot. No offense...

Not near going to jump off a cliff...For the Fins? You gotta be kidding me. I just made a point and LOSERS came from everywhere to dispute it.

Crazy...the Fins totally blow a game they should have won (maybe easily, but won none the less) and posters here are aggravated with me. With ME! I had nothing to do with this loss. Nothing. Yet I get called "less than a true fan" and all types of other things...all because I deal with reality.

Losers deal in fantasy. I don't. I deal with what is. Not what might be, not what I want it to be.

Just like every other year. I do seem to figure it out sooner than most. I knew Saban sucked after we lost to the Bills in the second season. I was called all kinds of names. The same losers who defended him then are probably the same ones who attack me now. Whatever.

But a second rate OC makes a team second rate.

But I dont even buy that. We scored enough points to win. Giving up 31 points...maybe we have a second rate DC as well. Cant blame this on the offense, really.

No team should be expected to win when your defense gives up 31 points. This is the same ol Sorry Fins that have been here since before JJ left. Soft. Cant win big games. Same garbage. And losers still defending them. I will never understand it. I dont want to . So its good.

I think I have a clue. I bet we dont win the division, I bet we dont win a playoff game. Lets put our money behind our words.

Every team that has played Buffalo has won a game. Every team but Detroit has beaten MN. How big a deal is that, really?

We are weak. Just like last year.
