Im with ya for the tequila and RicKy should be top 15 IMO

EDIT: top 10 there is no one on that list I trust more than Ricky Williams he fights for yards, Go PHins let the revis troll die.

Ricky is a great back and Ronnie is being saved watch this monday.
    Just a hunch

when he's healthy, its certainly worthy of debate. He's got just as much talent as most of those guys. I wont put him on AP or CJs level, as no one should, but Ronnie fits just fine with the Frank Gores, Michael Turners and Ryan Grants of this league.

but, unfortunately, he usually is injured.

Actually dispite this dispicable year, ronnie is averaging a career high 5.4 ypc.

When he has carried the ball more the 20+ times a game he has always gotten 100+ yards except in one game.

Ronnie averages over 4.5 ypc career

I think our biggest problem in miami has been not feeding the backs. Both Ricky and Ronnie are the kind of backs that need 20+ carries a game to dominate games. I like the idea of switching two good backs out but the fact remains that both of these guys need to dominate their own game.

I think ricky is a little older obviously, and it is affecting him. But, he just came off a 1,100+ season.

Bottom line, these guys can and will do well together. Their individual success depends on them wearing down a defense nearly single handedly.

Not to bang heads but if you consider Ronnie an "elite back" when healthy, then what did you consider Ricky in his prime? Or if Ronnie is "elite" then what is Adrian Peterson or Chris Johnson?

    PUlllease.

You need to go research Shonn Greene youngin. He has been hurt more than healthy, and that goes all the way back to High School...

Also, this is indeed just for YOU

Seriously, you call Greene a powerback, but you dispell Ronnie? You REALLY need to watch this.. Especially the 1:29 mark and 1:34 mark....actually ALL of it.

so honestly man, it was all fun with you before the jets week because you stayed kind of inside the line, you tell us to study some players, after you just posted that you would take 25 runners over ronnie...get the eff out of here and watch some tape on ronnie and you will shut the eff up

I think the better question should be " why is anyone even giving this fool the benefit of the doubt and replying to his unknowledgeable banter" ?

And,on a side note to D.R., as a fellow New Yorker I must say you`re an embarrassment to this city. How many times do you have to get your heart ripped out by the seams, year after year rooting for the Jets, befor you realize its nothing more than FALSE HOPE. New Yorkers arent supposed to be that stupid. Now, I`m going to have to ask you to leave NY all together. And take the Jets with you, while you`re at it.

You said Greene is the better back, I assume that means right now, not into the future. Brown is now the better back and has been the better back for several years, despite his injury issues. Green may or may not be a great back at some point in time...Right now he clearly is not. Your gang-green colored glasses are fooling you on this kid, right now. If you asked just about anyone right now, to choose between the two, there is no way 99 of 100 don't choose Brown. I like the kid (Greene) as a back, love those between-the-tackle pounders, but clearly you are off base on this one...

    Shonn Greene ATT:30 YARDS:106 AVG:3.5

    Ronnie Brown ATT:37 YARDS:199 AVG:5.4

And that is just this year, lets not mention the past since you NY frags have a selective memory.

Yeah, you can bugger off now.

When healthy Ronnie is one of the most complete backs in the NFL, good hands, good blocker, good runner, and he is a great triggerman in the WC

    You just described Ronnie Brown.

Except that Brown can make people miss, run them over, and actually gains yards when he carries the ball.

Not to mention, Ronnie is running behind a Make-shift line, and Greene is running behind perhaps a top 3 line.

Also, Greene has too many E's in his name.... and too many N's... never good.

Thanks. this is why he's on my fantasy team every year. But i have to say im very dissappointed with him getting about 10 carries every game this year. This guy gets better and better the more carries he gets.

So...we are now 75 + posts into this thread, and you still haven't backed up YOUR donkey dung yet. Quite a few of your superior football fans have given you their hypothesis for 35-40 better backs than your pro-bowl second stringer

But the world suffers for the lack of Darrel reefises "please can I be your Wilson when we are castaway on a desert Island, just the two of us, alone forever" biggestest fan pal's opinion of a mere 25 RB's superior in talent to Ronnie Brown.

Must we be kept in suspense forever???

I was thinking of a"how not to post on an opposing teams board forum"?

As am I. I had him chalked up as being done and apparently the San Diego OL really IS that bad and the Jets OL that good. His YPC is nearly double. :wink2:
