He also failed to name a single game or instance in which the dirt monster cost us. He also claimed that anyone who dared disagree with his supreme wisdom was "seriously in denial". IMO if you're gonna make statements like that, you'd better have some facts to back them up, or else you're going to get roasted. Nothing personal of course, we're all fans of the same squad so it's in good humor that I give him the bizness.
You are defending his assertion that the dirt costs us points and games. He has the right to that opinion, but he said that anyone who disagrees with him is in "denial," aka, WRONG. So, it then goes from opinion, to him saying that it is fact, since he leaves no option for him to be wrong. I agree with you on the dirt being an eyesore, and I agree with you about wanting it gone. You however, don't seem to have read what the OP originally wrote, and hence don't understand the discussion.
Haven't heard any complaints about him since he has been gone and he is still kicking in the league. You don't stay around if you are a "bad kicker". Nice try though
true, but every game I watch...and I watch most games...Mare always gets rave reviews, especially for his leg strength and power.
I don't care for baseball and the infield is tacky as all hell. Seems like we slip on it more than other teams whether that means we suck or not it does seem that way.
Oh god give it a rest you win I'm done I just want the infield to go away but there are many more things to worry about at the moment. Don't care about your pesty analysis of the discussion really. Enjoy the thread.
You want an example? The overtime home loss to the Patriots in 2003 when Mare missed two off the dirt. I don't know why people feel the need to be so f*cking rude to me though. I should have re-worded my original post. That better? It doesn't give either team an edge, but it SEEMS like the field has cost us more during games than some other teams in the past. That's what I was saying. I love how people have to knit pick everything I say though. My opinion isn't right, YOURS is. Please forgive me Mr. Expert. Edit: That game ended up being the difference between the division title and not making the playoffs.
Anyone that thinks the infield dirt hasn't helped us win games, is in total denial. I mean we get to practice on it all preseason and stuff, and the other teams have to practice on a field with all grass, advantage Phins. If you can't see this relationship, you may be in ...................
I'm not the guy who blames wins or losses on the field, in the end of the day, you still gotta play, you still gotta execute....however. This is a game of football, it is meant to be played on a grass field, so the infield DOES effect the came, wether some people want to admit it or not.
If we’re going to play the “intended” game, then it’s worth noting that football was never intended to have things like a forward pass.
/thread. Unprofessional is the best word to describe our field. Which is ridiculous considering our franchise and it's place in the league.
And MY opinion is it hurts both teams equally, has nothing to do with US losing games. So was that condescending enough for you? Edit: I absofreakinlutely hate the dirt, but can't do a thing about it. FYI
Well reports are that they are covering the dirt and they started tonight: OmarKelly: The Dolphins are indeed covering the infield dirt. I'm told the process started tonight. Can you say OVERTIME? Can the Patriots be the ones to slip this time?
Allen still wearing wrong cleats. He fell again on the play trying to tackle Hernandez, but got bailed out due to the penalty.
