Ball control or go after the Pats secondary in hopes of big/quick strikes??

Will Nolan cook up something marvelous to shut Tom Terrific down??

Will Miami play a game without a 12 man on the field call AND/OR kicking the ball out of bounds on the kickoff??

As I watch around the league, I can't help but to notice the tight end position being utilized on numerous occasions with huge success....Keller, Gates, Finley, Miller, etc etc....Will Miami get theirs invovled??

In any event boys and girls, there are questions I dont have the answer too...however someone should float this Tom's way to start his day off.......uhh-ohhh Giselle you little pigglet...!!

I’d go after the secondary and linebackers. That’s where the Pats defense is truly depleted. The defensive line still has something resembling integrity, mainly thanks to Vince Wilfork.

Run plays to the outside edge could work pretty well, too. We might see Ronnie hand the ball off pretty frequently in the Wildcat.

FWIW, that is a good trend for our chances heading into tonight's game.

I hope we win. But ill have plenty of beer and food to keep me satisfied should it go either way.

I think both fanbases are unsure how this one will turn out. The Pats are unbalanced and we're inconsistent.

I really hope we win, and expect a fairly close game (ie not a blow out either way, but could be an 8 pt game like last Sunday night). But I'm certainly not chalking up a win just because of the Pats road record of late.

I think it's going to be a combination of the two.

Lets Hope so! I'd love nothing more than to see our D sack Brady over, and over and over again, similar to what the Giants did to Cutler last night.

I don't think we have a TE capable of doing that. Fasano can make a play here and there, but I really want someone who is a bit quicker, and overall more athletic than him. It would help out Henne alot more, and the whole offense in general.

    GO PHINS GO!!!

Hopefully whomever Vontae has, whether it be Moss or Welker, they will be a non-factor. If not if could be a long night.

Attack, Must pressure Brady. Give Ronnie the ball and pound it. Air it out,
If we do any wildcat lets throw some from it.

It's inevitable that Brady will connect with Moss on couple big plays against us. Just gotta hope we hold them to FGs after those connections.
Welker will light us up for 10+ catches.
Even given that, I think our team weathers the storm and pulls out the win.

i don't think we get the t.e involved until we fix our o-line..we have been needing him to help block which is sad due to all the money tied up in the o-line and we still have to max protect constantly..injuries also played a part in it as well so here's to hoping jj is up to snuff for this game and carey can get his head out his rear.

There is not as much money tied up in the Oline as there was, with Smiley and Grove gone the unit has two pricey Tackles and cheapy G-C-G's now.

You are right about the Te's, well, tight end as Fasano is the only real Te we have left, I would not be surprised to see Shuler Jr and Roberto Wallace see extended action tonight, Shuler as the designated blocker, Wallace linning up as a Hybrid Wr/Te.

I think our offense has some success regardless. This game is gonna be how well our Defense bounces back from that POOR performance against the Jests. If we spot the Patsies 14 it's gonna be a LONG night...

I think the D finds a way to contain and our offense powers up a W for the Bye week!

Not anymore. The only real money invested in the OL is Jake Long’s 5 year/$57 million rookie contract and Vernon Carey’s 6 year/$42 million deal. John Jerry is on a 4 year/$2.6 million deal, Richie Incognito is on a 1 year/$1 million deal, and Joe Berger, as near as I can tell, is on a 3 year/$2 million deal.

Jake Grove and Justin Smiley’s paychecks are being forwarded to Brandon Marshall and Karlos Dansby.

We haven’t gone max protect as often as we did in 2009, at least not that I’ve seen. But going max protect doesn’t automatically infer poor line play. There are legitimate reasons to go max protect even if you have a great OL. If the opposing defense is bringing a huge blitz, then max protect is necessary. If your quarterback is young and still developing, maybe he needs the extra second bought by a max protect scheme in order to progress through his reads.

The interior of our OL is definitely a work in progress, but John Jerry’s illness and Pat McQuistan’s last-second arrival isn’t helping. I also think it’s pretty telling that Donald Thomas and Jake Grove are still unemployed.

They better make sure Clemons is there to help over the top on Moss all night or it will be inevitable. Jason Allen can cover Moss with a little help from his friends.

I think it applies here with Henne. It looks to me like he gets to his reads okay most of the time but man is he slow getting set up in the pocket. I hadn't noticed it much last season but so far this year it has been a glaring concern. But you combine the two and it snowballs into late movement and a disruption in timing. One of my concerns.

As for Donald Thomas people flipped out when he was released and Grove too. Turns out no one wants them and the fuss here was about nothing. DT is slow and lazy. He can lay on you because he is "heavy" and all but that doesn't get it done here. Obviously.

I think this is a tricky game to predict. We are going to be in a big nickel package quite a bit though.

Nah, I don't think that much. I'm thinking 30-35. If we start having some success offensively, I think they will try to run the ball to kill clock.

Might as well call our nickel package the base package considering how often we’re going to roll it out over the next three months.

I think we pull out a high scoring game. 27-24.

Well, the Pastriots secondary is weak as kittens "but" running Ronnie and Ricky and grinding clock may be a better plan as we are not perfect on offense, back to back stops via dropped passes and we could be down 14-0.

Limiting the Pasts to 40 plays on offence, or less, would be ideal.

The Nickel and Dime packages are going to be used quite often by every team. Probably more than ever before IMO. Slows down the run and has enough guys out there in coverage.

on the offensive line we have one huge advantage namely soliai vs koppen. i would be interested to see if we try to jam the middle this game and get pressure up the middle. would be a good game to have starks play nose quite a bit. koppen is the weakest link on that line from what ive seen

the vollmer matchup will be interesting. he's played well imo. i would like to see wake go up against him. i think we would have an advantage there. not sure about misi. could be a stalemate. i think starks has a big game tonight. i'm calling two sacks for starks

I think he's had issues. Vollmer has not been quick out of his kick slide consistently and he has not kept his hands off his hips enough. He struggles with stunts as well, similarly to Phil Loadholt IMO.

I think Soliai will maul Koppen, but I also think he will not make many plays.

Soliai is a bit to much of a bull and not a football player, he can push the pocked on anyone, but he lacks the savvy to consistently make a play once he has rag dolled the Center.

That's cool. Did anyone expect more than that from him this year? No way, Soliai has been a pleasant surprise.
