i don't think this link will take you to the video i want you to see as they add new videos on this site. look for: Dolphins-Patriots game preview with Jaws being interviewed. pay attention from 1:36 to 2:36 http://www.miamidolphins.com/video when opponents use the play action against the pats this year it was successful for 13/16 with 192 yards and 3 TD's and no INT's! I think we'll see a heavy dose of Ronnie and Ricky to open up some good play action passes. i hope we can capitalize on this!
we can beat this defense. Its the opposite end of things im worried about. Oh and our Poopy Teams Unit.
Jaws is always nice to hear from whenever he is doing film study. Can't say i like him on the monday night team or as a contributor for ESPN, but when he gets in and talks about film and what he sees in film, he's pretty dang insightful. Really wish they would highlight more of his film studies instead of trying to have him come in as a bit commentator.
Problem: Henne doesn’t sell play action passes well. He yanks the ball back before the RB can even begin to fake the carry.
It's almost as if he's just going through the motions. Also we run a play action almost every play. I feel at some point the defense would just stop biting because it's overused
Funny thing i've see a couple times is that Henne will fake to a rb, but there is no rb even close to him when he fakes.
I wish we'd use play action more. This team seems designed to be a run-centric, play action passing team, but you need to both run and pass in the same game to do that effectively.
i'm trying to remember how pennington was on play action. And if he was any good at it, why isn't he or the qb coach correcting this if this is true about Henne?
