Honestly, I'm not a big X's and O's guy, but IF Brady spreads the ball around, like he's capable of doing, I don't know if any defense in the league can slow that offense down -- nevermind ours. They just have so many weapons.

I'm always terrified when they're in their patented empty backfield set.

Anyways, I'm very nervous about tonight. This is a much bigger game for the Dolphins than it is for the Patriots -- if for no other reason being that its home. Miami absolutely needs to hold serve (something they've already failed to do with the Jets).

I did, it is all great he can burst through the Oline but when the RB runs through the hole he just created we will have problems.

Just find the ball Big Paul, just find the ball...

Speed, our speed on Defense has to show up tonight.

You'll never cover all of their weapons, all you can do is snuff RAC and YAC yards

Pads, do you believe we have the horses in the defense backfield to be able to pull it off? The Patriots have moved the ball at-will on each of their three opponents to date. The only group that has been able to slow them down has been themselves.

The 2nd half of the Jets game was an example of Brady falling in love with Randy Moss. When he was spreading the ball around in the first half, they were carving up that Jet secondary.

I would hate to put our offense in a position that dictates they need to be perfect, regardless of whether or not the Patriots defense has struggled. Its unrealistic.

    I will be there tonight.

The key will be how much pass rush we can get on Brady.

Hit him enough and we will win the game. Let him stand back in the pocket and it will be a long night.

They will move the ball well tonight, Nolan+Young Defense will ensure that happens, however down in the red zone the scales shift in our favor imo.

Well TBH I think the Pats hit on three big plays this evening, how the D manages the aftermath will determine a lot about winning or losing, their Te's are too good to think they won't hit something underneath and break long plays.

Once at our 12yd line, then things get interesting.

The Oline and Ricky and Ronnie will dictate our offense as we have dual needs, to score and to eat clock to protect the defense.

How much will sean smith play tonight? Will he be on Hernandez or Welker? I think it could hinge on how well our 3rd corner plays as to how many points Henne has to put on the board to win. I think its gonna be a horse race that could finish with each team over the 30 point mark.

Vontae will have zero help tonight as we will need to be over allen constantly. The good thing is NE is not committed to the run so w can keep our safeties back. I see alot of nickel tonight and Sean Smith will bag an INT. as the 3rd cornerback. Clemmons gets an INT as well as Davis. Maybe even Dansby will get into te mix but I say 3 INT's for our defense and Brady still throws for 4td's

Gotta slow down Brady. That's all there is too it. Get in his face, knock him to the ground, try and confuse him, etc. We can't let him get comfortable in the pocket or he will tear us, or anyone for that matter, apart. I want to see a balanced attack on offense. Keep the pedal to the metal on both sides of the ball. Stay hungry.

    Let's go baby!

just go, perform, execute, and destroy....

Someone forgot to tell the New York Giants that they werent good last night, someone forgot to tell the Giants their defense was going to get carved up by the genius that is Mike Martz....someone forgot to tell the Giants that they had no secondary and Cutler was going for 300 and 3TDS on them....see my point...??

It doesnt matter, just simply beat the crap out of them for simply stepping foot in Miami...pound them until their QB fakes a concussion like Cutler did as he acrued his 9th NINTH sack by mid way through the 2nd qtr....

God watching defense like that last night gets me horny...:shifty:

That pic must suck if you're Brady. I'm sorry, but that does not look good at all. I saw that a few days ago and laughed.

Isn't that Charlie dressed as the infamous "green man" from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia? Not sure, but it could be from the "World Series Defense" episode.

It's Charlie from the TV show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia but it's not the World Series Defense. It's from Season 4, an episode titled "America's Next Top Paddy's Billboard Model Contest"

I was guessing between him and Zach Miller all week. Went with Miller. 133 yards and a TD. Second highest scoring total in the league despite Vick going down. :shifty:

Oh, yeah, is there some football game on tonight?

Even if we shut down Aaron Hernandez, there’s still Rob Gronkowski to worry about.

Huh, Vick's rib injury will cost me my matchup with conu, he has Brown and Carpenter, so even Ahmad Bradshaw's 140 yd effort will mean not a darn thing.

No big worries from what I've seen. He's a horizontal tight end IMO, he lacks explosiveness and from what I've seen, he's been used as a blocker to help out Vollmer. They only look to him in the red zone IIRC.

That makes me wonder if we go to any 30 Dime blitz packages.

Maybe if we had some TE proficiency in our own offense, our defense would be able to better prepare for it...?

Yeah no kidding. I'm glad this game starts when my kids go to bed. I don't want them to hear the bad language that will probably come out of my mouth when we fail to stop another TE from moving the chains on 3rd down.

I could really care less about fantasy though, if the Fins get a W.

in my FFL I'm down by 19 I have Welker and Carpenter, Vick really hurt me. thank god its a PPR league. All I need is maybe 6XP's from carpenter :p and Welker to have 10-12 catches and a TD seems realistic.

I'm down 11.88 points in my league with Brown left. If Bradshaw did fumble on the 5 yard line and took it to the house instead i would only need 3 points tonight from Ronnie.

Now I need ~60 yards and a TD or 2 TD's or 120 yards. Cmon Ronnie!

I'm down by 74 points in my league. but have no fear..i have Henne, Marshall, Ronnie, Dan Carpenter, The Dolphins D, and Cameron Wake. I also have WR Brandon Tate from the Pats because we get a lot of points for return yards in my league and our special teams sucks right now! The guy i'm going up against has Randy Moss and Yeremiah Bell. I'm not worried though.

p.s. just picked up Odrick yesterday and hope to start him after the bye. speaking of the bye, i'm gonna have a headace coming up with a starting line-up next weekend. lmao

Iam in a completely dark bizarre state of mind for this game, I have no stress, just an eery calm... just gonna watch my team, get drunk, have some fun with you guy's and figure out if it's time to start scouting college player's, or start howling again..lol.

Our pass rush will decide the game. It's pretty simple. They're not going to run much on us obviously.
