Should I pull the trigger on this Trade?

    I trade
    Joe Flacco

    to him for
    Matt Hasselback
    Deangelo Williams.

    QB's are Flacco, Henne, Orton.
RB's are Michael Turner, Rashard Mendenhall, Cedric Benson, and Lesean Mccoy.

    Worth it?

Depends, do you like Williams’ chances of putting up numbers? If so, then you’ll certainly be pretty deep at QB, and you could use the help at RB if Williams returns to his former self.

Orton would be your every week starter, I think.

I would denfinately do that trade. DeAngelo Williams is the ultimate buy-low player atm. And Flacco stinks imo.

    I wouldn't.

You already have plenty of quality RBs and could def use Flacco.

I can use 3 backs, as one will be a flex. But I see where your going at with Flacco.

I'd take the 4 you have ahead of Deangelo or at least a few of them closely ranked enough that the trade really wouldn't be an upgrade, imo.

Kyle Orton is no rookie bro. He is a solid veteran QB that this year will get you 20+ TDs and 10+ INTs. That is a solid starter, imo.

Again, he hasn't played anything but cupcake defenses yet so we'll see.

    Just bc he's a vet def doesn't mean he's a ff starter.

The backs you have currently are all better than Deangelo. If you do it, I would package some and see if you can upgrade at another position.

I wouldn't do it. Flacco will become increasingly comfortable with what is otherwise a great receiving corp, he has a great running game and offensive line. He is really poised to have a great year, get 25-30 passing touchdowns, so don't let a bad game or two scare you off.

Full disclosure, I drafted Flacco in the 5th.

Prob the best backup in a 12 team league.

He had a very nice performance.

Hope he can keep it up so I can trade him after another QB bites the dust.

Ortons actually numbe 5 in my league, Sanchez 7th, Flacco 10th.

Should I take this trade, and ride with Orton, Henne and ( Sanchez or Kolb off the wire)

Well...he just lit up the Titans, while on the road...LOL...OWNED:tongue2:

Take a look at ortons end of season schedule from week 8 on. It's cake. The only problem I have is that I need a QB for Weeks 5, 6 and 7. Henne can only take me so far, and Sanchez plays MIN next week.

lol Owned? Ignorance is bliss I guess.

If you want to keep your man-crush over a guy who's had 4 big games against 75% garbage defenses going, then be my guest. Just keep it in your pants.

Yea, I'll take Romo. The guy who has more skills, a much better group of receivers, and a nice upcoming schedule. Not to mention he's had a few more than 4 big games in his career.

lol No, those are words from someone with a brain.

I love people who make rash statements like that after 4 weeks and are butt-hurt when someone disagrees and cites facts. Amazing.

To be clear, I own both, so don't bother telling me I'm just hating on Orton.

    Apparently lol

Yea, I would. Flacco's been good but I think they'll eventually get back to running the ball against the weaker teams coming up. He def has a lot of upside but I think he'll be inconsistent in weeks they go run heavy.

Pretty much a toss-up between those two.

I think Flacco has better weapons, but Orton's lack of a running game will force him to keep throwing for at least a while.

Wow all this and heres a kicker---

I accepted the trade the earliest I could after the games (9AM today).

I get a text from him saying he didn't want to do the trade past week 4 because he already has romo, coming off a bye.

The commish has to approve the deal. How should I feel? I'm a little pissed, but he's still thinking about doing it.

Part of the reason why I didn't send him Flacco in week 4 is because he was forced to use Hasselback as his QB, and our 1st tiebreak is Points for. I was 30 ahead, and wanted to stay that way.

THis league is a ****ing joke.

First, the guy who offered Williams has the commish reject it because he doesn't want to do the trade.

Now, guys are picking up players before 6pm like we all agreed to, at 559 and 558. I've lost out on Torain, Jackson, Bradshaw, Lloyd, and Hillis because of this ****.

I owe $100 on the league, and already gave him the other $50 before the season. I've purposely held onto my $100 because of **** like this.

Should I just ask for my money back and bail? I told the commish this at 6PM on the league board because HE of all people added torrain at 5:58. I told him add Tor to my team as I was here at the right time, and you pulled your trigger early.

    Should I just leave instead?
