I think the Packers should come get him, for one of their WR and a Pick.

I really would like Deangelo Coming here.

Deangelo told Ricky last season that he is his idol and the reason he wears 34 and has dreads....If there is ever a possibility of Ricky not retiring at seasons end, it's the possibility of mentoring a fan of his like Earl Campell took him under his wings.

A pass it on concept so to speak.

Is Ronnie worth more than a third? We won't get anything more than that, and most likely it would be fourth. The market for running backs has been set. I know there are some guys that really think Ronnie is incredible, but reality is he is fairly average. He won't fetch a pick 2 rounds higher than Lynch or Maroney.

Frankly, I don't see the point in trading him. Rickey is looking OK now, but he will wear out by seasons end, and Cobbs/Hilliard are backups all the way.

This thread was not stupid as you look at the history of this regime and re-couping there draft pics plus the needs of multiple teams makes this a possibility. What is STUPID are people that continue to make comments about last game as the reason i started the thread. Maybe it was my mistake to start this thread after our most recent lost but me starting it had nothing to do with Ronnie's ability. It was about how the FO seems to do things in addition to where I feel watching the games our offense could be headed towards, which is not a run team like years past.

What is STUPID is people that say why Philly would want a RB when a crawler on ESPN Monday night stated that they were inquiring about a Lynch. Maybe just maybe McCoy is injured more than everyone thinks and they are looking for a 1 year band-aid just like Green Bay is. Right now the FINS have the best chance to get the most for Ronnie because of the needs of the 2 teams, and the fact that both of them, especially the Packers feel they have a real chance to make a run this year.

I for one want us to keep Ronnie at least this year and actually use him properly which in my opinion the only time that was done was with Cam Cameron. Sad to say but true. He was blowing up that year before he blew up his knee....lol. I also don't see him ever being used as the feature back and reducing Ricky's carries.

We have another week before the deadline passes, and I just wonder if the Packers have given us a call. I bet this FO would more than answer it but seriously entertain the offer.

I don't know...I like Ronnie but it wouldn't surprise me if something like this were to happen. They could just plug a guy like Julius Jones in for the rest of the season. I say that not because I think hes good or anything but because hes a past Parcell's pick.

Jones is done and has been for some time, I would be horrified if we brought him in.

It would make sense if we could get much for him. But I doubt we could.

    Maybe a 3rd rounder.

    I don't see it.
