So since Labor Day: - My dad collapsed and injured himself. Diagnosed with a bulging disk and leaky heart valve. Bad thing. - My ex stepfather died. Good thing. - My wife's adoptive father was rushed to the hospital and placed in ICU. He he has colon cancer and is close to death. Very, very good thing. (Sounds cold, but you'll just have to trust me, his death makes the world better.) - Just found out my current step father has a giant lump (fist sized) on his clavicle. It was worrisome enough to his doctor, that he was able to get another doctor to leave the golf course and check it out. Bad thing for my mom. Anyway, point is, if you're a dad of any kind...don't come near me. Apparently I'm bad ju-ju.
I hope this is not contagious. I just found out my dad has cancer on his brain and has an extremely short time. I may have to stay away from other dads too. Good for the good stuff. sorry for the bad.
I stay away from you because i don't like politics that much but seriously, sorry about all that man. Hope things get better
Thanks man. He has been sick for a while with circulatory disease. Lost his leg and wheelchair bound. He is not strong enough for chemo and he won't quit smoking. It is quality care from here out and he will die happy. Appreciate the kind words.
Well, many of us are getting to that age where the parents start showing serious signs of aging, including appearance of cancers and weird growths. My family has been lucky so far, but that's because people in my family all die of abnormal causes and diseases, always unexpected and rarely due to something like cancer or cardiac issues. My wife's family on the other hand. ugh. what a mess. all cancer and cardio deaths at very young ages.
Finacious, Sorry to hear about (most) of your troubles. Any chance we can get you over to visit Kim Jong Il and maybe Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?
Wow Fin D. and Killer, my condolences to both of you. I wish you and your families the best. Shoot me a PM if there's anything you guys need.
