Not only that remember when we went 2-4, finished 11-5 and won the division?

Farve handed you 7 points too. Please. It was a monsoon and the jets offense still scored 22 points. Give them some credit, as hard as that may be.

1 angry packer victory and you will feel better, and, it will give us 1 more chance to show something at home in terms of momentum, support, and energy...if we dont win, our stadium will not be a good place to play...adding to the disadvantages that already comes with the territory.

This is a big game for more reasons than the win column...its deep.

See the Jets last year. Lousy division record. Anything can happen. There is a ton of football left.

I agree. I can see them losing to the Colts, the Ravens and the Steelers.

Don't forget what happened two years ago with your 8-3 start Jets fans. The meltdown is on the horizon.

I don't. Unless they can generate pressure on Manning without blitzing, he will pick them apart...just like last year.

I also don't want everyone to think I am completely negative. I am just still deeply hurt and depressed about those last two games. It hurts to hear these nasty Jet fans I work with and have to hear everyday laugh at the Dolphins, and call them names, and chide me and ask me why am I a fan of a loser franchise.

Of course I know they haven't won anything lately, but I still can't talk too much smack back to them because I can't back it up....so there. I just don't want to see the "go root for another team" posts. Those are silly. I love my Dolphins and will be there in front of the TV waiting and hoping and living and dying on each and every snap of the ball until the last one this year.

Do what I do, save that up... Save it up in quotes, sticky notes, post its. And when the day comes when the Jets melt down, make them suffer. Because the Jets are going to have a slumping point this season, they are not going to waltz into Dallas and walk away with a trophy.

And even if they do, next year they will not be the same team, and you can easily take all that bottled up hate, and rage, and make someone feel as bad as you do now, for making you feel that way.

I hate bragging when we're up, because I know it's going to come 10 fold when we're down. But I do remember who trash talks when we are down, and make sure they get int just as bad if not worse when they're at the same place.

So some Jets fans are busting your balls at work. That is what being a fan is about. Good with the bad. Stand up and be proud your a fan. You know the further they kick you down the more heat you are going to take. Get over the losses and move on. Be confident that we will get it back. Opposing fans want us to be gloomy. Keep your chin up man. We have a lot of football to go.

Of course. But how would that have effected the NE game? Up 7-6 at the half and you don't give up the kickoff return for a TD. The defense was playing well enough that you'd have to believe they would've kept the game close.

So long as you're making money and getting laid on a daily basis, who cares? Talking smack between fans is gayer than Justin Bieber anyway

Guys look I am just a fan. I can't talk smack about a lot of the stuff a lot of you guys talk about. I never played the game, I don't know what kind of coverage they run, or other than basics what kind of play is being run by the offense. But I am a BIG fan, and I love the Dolphins and have been a fan since I went to my 1st Dolphins game in 1966. So I appreciate you guys not hammering me too hard, its been a tough two weeks brothers.

I really hate people that go out of their way to bust balls. I really do. It even bothers me when fans of my teams do it, which is why I give the Darelle Revis poster crap. There is just no need for it.

Sorry you have to take that from those fans. I had a co worker that was a Dallas fan and back in the 90's he was relentless. One day I just told him, "Look. Dude. Save it. I don't talk sh!t to you so please show the same courtesy." Believe it or not it worked.

Back on topic. I think the Dolphins are still one of the top teams in the AFC. I certainly wouldn't want to face them in the playoffs.

I concur, everyone is so hung up on the division losses...just finish with a better OVERALL record and it does not matter.

I am on their forum. It's not sucking up. I do think the Dolhins are a good team and they scare me more than NE. They have a good group of young core players. Do I think the Jets are better? Yes. But if I didn't, I would admit it. It's just a game.

Observation from lurking: In order for him to be sycophantic about his sucking up, wouldn't we have to be a better or influential to him in some way? I don't see Bickety rooting for our 'phins just yet.

If you're going to insult or put down one of the better posters here, regardless of his and your common filthy Jet fandom, at least do it properly.

Where is that scratching the head smiley at?

Talk about gloom and doom man.

Four games in and people are already on the ledge, leaning and leaning.

Last season the Jets thought they were on top of the world at 3-1, and the Patriots beat them out for the division. While Miami started out 0-3 and were 1-4 at the same point. Fast forward to December 20th and the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets were both 7-7....

What do you think the mood would be like in here if Miami had dropped the first two on the road, but then won the next two at home. Same 2-2 record, but you would be 2-1 in the division. I have a feeling you guys would feel a lot better, but at the end of the day, the difference is not that much between the two scenarios.

This from the person who gave herself carpal tunnel trying to convince us that the Jets still would have beaten the Colts last season if the Colts were trying to win.

How should he be posting exactly anyway?

No doubt it would be more positive. There would still be consistency issues but it would be a much better 2-2. That's why I have hard time just taking 2-2 at face value. It's not a good 2-2.

Hell no it's not a good 2-2. It's the worst 2-2 of all time. Can't wait to see the highlights from that MN game being played for the next 50 years or however long it is until I die. Might be a lot sooner the way this team affects me every year.

On the Saturday before the opening game, where did most realistic Miami fans have their team at the bye? I had them at 2-2. I figured a win at Buffalo, a loss at Min, and a split with NE and NY (I actually had you beating NY and losing to NE). I think that Min win gave rise to greater expectations.
