is good.....almost too good, I'd expect these numbers to go up..... Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers has allowed just 81 yards on 31 targets this season, good for a ridiculously low 2.6 yards per attempt figure. Move over Darrelle Revis, meet the NFL's newest shutdown corner. To put Flowers' numbers in perspective, he's averaging a full yard less per attempt than Darrelle Revis allowed last season. Two writers from the stats-based website Profootballfocus.com have Flowers in the running for NFL MVP through five weeks. He'll travel to Houston Sunday to take on Andre Johnson and the Texans. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/columns/story?columnist=joyner_kc&id=5681251&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnfl%2finsider%2fcolumns%2fstory%3fcolumnist%3djoyner_kc
Anyone see how Haden is doing in Cleveland? He's the only highly rated rook that I haven't really see much. As far as top CBs, Asomugha and Woodson are clearly the cream of the crop. I don't know if Davis is top 5 yet. He can certainly get there, but at this point how much of it simply that other teams find easier pickings in Allen. Revis has dropped out of the top CB discussion until his hammy is better and he gets a few solid games down.
Woodson is so rubbish. He Holds and PI on every play. You will see plenty of that douche on Sunday holding and only get called once the entire game.
