Now if Rodgers is out too we might really have something here.

Looks like my "Crippling-Fear-of-Jake-Long" theory holds some water...

Way to early to say one way or another with Matthews Jr.

My theory is, McCarthy is a horses ***, he doesn't care if what he considers non essential players make it onto the field, but stars like Matthews and Rodgers, if they can walk without a crutch, they will be playing.

Expect to see a dude with the longest blond hair since Kevin Greene to be playing this Sunday.

" TE Donald Lee (chest), LB Clay Matthews (hamstring), DE Ryan Pickett (ankle), QB Aaron Rodgers (concussion), OT Mark Tauscher all sat out"

The Pack have great DL play and will push us back all day with or without Clay.Their DL are really going to EAT our LG,C,RG alive. They are Great with or without Clay .....he just makes them SUPER DUPER GREAT lol

I hope John Jerry starts at RG, to me that's just as important as Clay playing or not.We have good speed bumps for Clay but we really won't have any for their LDE and NT if Jerry doesn't play.

And well we all know if Aaron Rodgers can't play we should win.

Also .....most the time if a player doesn't practice on friday they don't play, so them not practicing today really doesn't mean much.

If we had players playing like Mangold and Matthews I wouldn't care if they had hair to their toes.

This would be great news if Clay sits out. Especially for our not 100% star LT Jake Long.

We need all the help we can get this game guys. This just feels like a MUST win game for us, even though it is a road NFC game. I think we need to win this game for team psyche going forward.

Why are you making the Packers defense sound like they are hall of fame bound?

Has more to do with our starting LG,and RG..... Plus the Pack get's after QB's better than all the teams we have played so far, with or without Clay.

Our LG and RG should not be starting in the nfl in my mind, and i still don't understand how Pat McQuistan is even in the nfl.

Whoa there, both the Jets and Vikes can really get after a QB as well, and we handled both pretty well. Incognito is doing pretty well, but until Jerry gets back, RG is iffy yes.

Yes that's the difference, were not going to be able to handle Green Bay as well.If Chad has to pass it over 35 times he's going to be getting hit a'lot in this game.

Also most teams RG is a their pulling guard, and Incognito " cool name " can't do that very well, and is only an ok Pass blocker and sub par Run blocker. We can't run the ball because unlike last year our new RG and LG are sub par run blockers. We went from 4th in rushing to 16th, that's not pretty anything in my book.

But i'll let you know right now the worst player on ether line is Brian Bulaga. He made 4 mental mistakes from what i saw in his 1st start. When he knew what he was doing he played very good. He'll own our OLB'ers on running plays......But because of mental mistakes look for Nolan to blitz alot on the right side and over all play mind games with Bulaga. If Nolan really wants to he could Clown Bulaga all day.

Bulaga is going to be a very good player in the nfl ,but his head is still spinning right now.

I don't think a completely healthy Matthews would have been a big enough factor to make or break a game. I'm confident Jake Long could shut him down.

So am I. However, Matthews switches sides quite a bit and frankly, I didn't have equal confidence of Vernon Carey going up against him.

I respectfully disagree. I am not a huge fan of Nick Collins. He makes plays but he gets beat too because he's not exactly a bright guy. Poppinga doesn't even start on the team and has always flashed some talent but his development was stopped by inconsistency or injuries.

I didn't say that. 'm just saying that some of those guys are overrated IMO.

Dom Capers calls a quality game though.

They have the 13th ranked defense and the Phins have the 7th. I don't see your point.

Donald Lee (chest) made a surprising return to Packers practice Thursday.

Aaron Rodgers (concussion) returned to practice Thursday and took the vast majority of snaps.

I want to see how much the refs protect Rodgers now. Watch when someone makes the slightest contact with him, there will be a personal foul. I have a feeling that the fix is in on this game anyway. Does anyone have a good feeling about this game? Cause I don't.
