Who just witnessed that "fumble"? The runner's knee clearly goes down with the ball still in possession. I'm not a fan of either team, and have nothing against either team.... this call made me change the channel and not want to watch college football for the rest of the evening. I might even watch baseball.
Certainly looked like it could go either way to me, and since it was ruled a fumble on the field I didn't see conclusive video evidence to overturn (nor would I had he been ruled down).
I thought the third angle was obvious that his knee taps the ground long before the ball even begins to come loose. Oh well. Already accustomed to seeing great SEC games ruined by horrible calls. If Auburn goes undefeated now.... not legit.
wasnt ark only down 8 after that? stop blamming the officials, it wasnt conclusive evidence......ark still had a chance....the int afterwards is what killed them. their defense gave up another 50+ points.....
I hate this ****ty mentality when it comes to sports/officiating.... "stop blaming the officials because the game wasn't over yet".... no, it sure wasn't, but that one call changed EVERYTHING. If one play in football can change everything, then so can one call. I wasn't rooting for Arkansas so I had no reason to blame the refs just because.
I should have put a "no offense" in there.... I didn't mean to call dude's mentality ****ty. I was speaking in general terms.
