http://www.palmbeachpost.com/blogs/...008/04/21/gholston_not_surrendering_hope.html “I would love to be a Dolphin and to play for them,” Gholston said. “With me, winning is everything, so I’ll work my butt off to make that happen as much as possible. “Me being potentially the No. 1 pick, I know a lot of responsibility comes with that, but I’m definitely up to living up to that responsibility.” “I think (the Dolphins) think highly of me, going back to my interviews with them. I think I fit their system well. I have a lot of attributes as far as the speed and know I can be a player in the 3-4 defense. Hopefully I’m that decision.” Good read
Sounds like a good kid. Cant recall him getting into trouble or having any character issues (Im sure BK will confirm). Seems like he could be a good one if he wants to be.
The sky is the limit with Gholston, took to football very quickly. Having VG will make me say JT who?
Well he's saying all the right things anyways. Would be interesting to see whats going to happen here. I think when it comes down to Jake Long, and Chris Long id be very happy if its either of them. If its gholston id just be happy with the choice. I think theyre all good choices really, but I'd prefer one of the Longs.
Chris Long is my preference, but I'm fine with Gholston as well. Anything is better than drafting a RT with the top pick in the draft. Well, other than drafting Matt Ryan.
Don't forget, I heard the story where he was not successful against the Wolverines/Jake Long, so he went and studied film, found a weakness, and used it against Michigan last year. The kid may be raw, but he is definitely trying to get better.
