I thought the same during the game. I was shocked, but then the controversy with the 4th down kind of drowned that out. Still a horrible call.

I agree with the poor performance comment , he hasn't been nearly as effective and also has made some glaring mistakes with his blocking assignments imo . If he doesn't improve , what he is providing isn't enough to keep him in the game as much as he has been imo.
In todays Herald they said he went 19 for 19 last year and was 4 for 4 this year. So was it 23 straight or is it 19
I blame McQuistan. He got blowed up on that play. I'm pretty sure it was him...if not, let's blame him anyway.
i would love to see polite get the ball when we are on the 1-3 yardline.we rarely give it to him down there if at all.befuddles me when i see us try 3 pass attempts in a row when we have such a beast at picking up the short yardage.
