Meh, you'll see a better team than what we had last year...I give you guys the edge because of what you did without Big Ben. His escapability is so damned impressive for a guy his size (friggin' jackrabbit in the pocket). He'll take the hit too.

I wouldn't underestimate our defense, though.

Our offense looked pretty good against the Packers but they had zero pass rush...

In all honesty, I'd say we've got a good shot against any team in the league. We're certainly not afraid to get physical. We'll outsmart ourselves on occasion, but if we hang onto the football you'll have your hands full.

BTW-How does Mendenhall look this year? Is he looking better than Willie did? I haven't seen too many highlights of your team this year because your defense has been lights out.

hmmm comparing the piss towel to the American flag...

--one represents freedom, liberty, and the sacrifice all men and women did to make this country great.....

--the other represents cheap shot artists, and rapist with money to pay people off....

 Yes, normally I don't like to double up (etiquette and all) ..... but for this I'd make an exception!! lol

This douche is making me forget how much I despise the Jets. Wish we could drop Buffalo and put Pitt in our division. On second thought, I'll settle for meeting them annually in the AFC Championship. :shifty:

WTH? Speaking of logo's, what the hell is that thing on the Steelers helmet anyway? Or does anyone know?

    1. The Beast wasn't in Miami for the last game.
    2. The "Terrible" towel can be used to wipe your tears after the game.
    3. The Dolphins are fully healthy this week, pissed off and at Home looking for redemption!
    4. Lets see if you've got the guts to show up on Monday if your team loses...

This is the type of game where having 5 WRs active for gameday would be helpful. Or running some sort of a spread offense like the Pats or Saints. But no we want to play smashmouth with 3 new interior lineman against the best defenses in the league. Theres a reason the pats continue to win games. We need to learn to spread the field out. Although having speed probably helps, something we traded away.

The steelers guy is right though, half that stadium is going to be terrible towels waving in the face of fins fans. I recall last year where both teams were out of the playoffs and their fans were going crazy. I couldn't even get a defensive cheer on. Funny thing we almost beat them when they had all their staters but Troy and we were using our 4th string QB.

Oh thanks steelers for trading holmes for garbage, that helps us for the next 5-10 years and gives those idiots room to talk smack.

Oh and the city of Miami does not worship the dolphins, they now worship the heat.

Yea, screw those silly McDonald's golden arches.

Too bad Dolphin fans were waving white towels in the early 70's, BEFORE your fans were.

"Oooh...color them yellow and we can claim we invented it!"

    Welcome B&G.

This game IMO will be decided on which QB is forced into costly mistakes (Points off turnovers) and special teams.

If Miami can ensure the sp teams play is solid and not give up any big plays or gamechanging plays then the Dolphins will win.

If the Steelers D forces Henne into some costly errors or create points/take away points on sp teams then the Steelers will prevail.

Miami needs a big day from Hartline and Bess. Head and Shoulders boy will be all over Marshall all day to support the CB who has the unfortunate task of covering the Beast.

Should be a tough game and a hell of a game to watch from both sides. This is our toughest game all year. Our Safeties, LB's and J.Allen need to step up to limit 3rd down conversions to Miller and Ward. Those two will live between the hashmarks. Wallace will be shut down by Vontae and Ben will be looking for the crossing of Miller and Ward.

Hmmm sounds like another guy could miss this game....if indeed a sprain...

Steelers RG Doug Legursky sustained a sprained left MCL in Week 6.

It must be the mildest possible sprain because coach Mike Tomlin expects him to start this week at Miami. Legursky, dubbed "Bronko", has been a clear upgrade on Trai Essex in the ground game.

And, every team we've played so far (including the Jills) have made their offensive living by using those damned TEs over the middle for the last two years....if you don't, you're idiots...

I have faith you can beat them. Just got to pressure Big Ben and you have Cameron Wake to get that done. I think if you can shut their offense down and play grind it out football with the running game then your Miami Dolphins will be victorious.

Just think STEEL, baby, and we have the coolest helmets in the NFL. Maybe if they put a catfish drinking an Iron City Beer on your helmet it would make your uniforms look tougher, not sure.....

The Steelers logo is based on the Steelmark logo belonging to the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). Created by U.S. Steel Corp. (now known as USX Corp.), the logo contains three hypocycloids (diamond shapes).
In the 1950s, when helmet logos became popular, the Steelers added players' numbers to either side of their gold helmets. Later that decade, the numbers were removed and in 1962, Cleveland's Republic Steel suggested to the Steelers that they use the Steelmark as a helmet logo.
When the Steelmark logo was created, U.S. Steel attached the following meaning to it: Steel lightens your work, brightens your leisure and widens your world. The logo was used as part of a major marketing campaign to educate consumers about how important steel is in our daily lives. The Steelmark logo was used in print, radio and television ads as well as on labels for all steel products, from steel tanks to tricycles to filing cabinets.
In the 1960s, U.S. Steel turned over the Steelmark program to the AISI, where it came to represent the steel industry as a whole. During the 1970s, the logo's meaning was extended to include the three materials used to produce steel: yellow for coal, orange for ore and blue for steel scrap. In the late 1980s, when the AISI founded the Steel Recycling Institute (SRI), the logo took on a new life reminiscent of its 1950s meaning.
The Steelers had to petition the AISI in order to change the word "Steel" inside the Steelmark to "Steelers" before the logo was complete.
The Steelers are the only NFL team that sports their logo on only one side of the helmet. At first, this was a temporary measure because the Steelers weren't sure they would like the look of the logo on an all-gold helmet. They wanted to test them before going all-out.
Equipment manager Jack Hart was instructed to put the logo only on one side of the helmet - the right side. The 1962 Steelers finished 9-5 and became the winningest team in franchise history to date. The team finished second in the Eastern Conference and qualified for the Playoff Bowl. They wanted to do something special for their first postseason game, so they changed the color of their helmets from gold to black, which helped to highlight the new logo.
Because of the interest generated by having the logo on only one side of their helmets and because of their team's new success, the Steelers decided to leave it that way permanently.
Today's helmet reflects the way the logo was originally applied and it has never been changed.

At least the Dolphins can afford emblems on both sides of their helmets.

EDIT: No, I didn't read the Steelers copy and paste history lesson. I know the story, and its an impressive one. But fans like you make me think of the Jets the way you come off with such a holier than thou attitude. Talk all the smack you want. We're big boys and we can take it. I'm sure you'll be back if the Steelers win. We'll respect you if you come back if the Dolphins win.
