Jeez, learn how to pump fake Henne. Thanks for the post, I'm still digging through it...

-Henne has too many tipped passes, a problem that has continued from the preseason.

-YBell has missed to many tackles

Those are categories you do not wish to lead the NFL.

Henne has been sacked 9 times, of those 9 times only 3 have been given to linemen.

I wish I had the numbers for the past couple of games, because I remember the drops being a lot more prevalent towards the beginning of the season/preseason. I think it's cleaned up somewhat since then.

    Brandon Marshall:

    Dropped Passes: 1st
    YAC: 2.8 yards

Ouch. It looks bad on paper but I think Marshall has played very well to date.

    Henne:
    Third down passer rating
    Henne: 112.9 (2nd)

    Very nice statistic there.

Do they keep track of number of time-outs going into the 4th QTR?

I think most of it is the type of passes that are thrown to Marshall.

Beast is also being covered by 3 guys at times, he catches the ball and is wrapped up as soon as he comes down with it, lots of hip tackles on him.

I haven't been too impressed by Polite's blocking this year

the other surprising thing is..Jason Allen has played better than Vontae Davis in everything but avg yd per completion, that is mostly due to qb's going deep on JA one on one, and that slip vs Edwards will skew his average for quite awhile this season.

Yeah, Marshall's YAC number was the first thing that jumped out at me as well. Its not surprising having watched the games, but if someone had told me at the start of the year that he would average less than 3 per catch I wouldn't have believed it.

I wonder how that stacks up against his career number.

Henne hasn't given Marshall a chance to do much after the catch. On top of the double coverage his passes rarely hit him in stride which would allow him to do more with the ball. That split second is the difference between 0 YAC and 10-20 YAC in a lot of cases.

Interesting...seems to me I remember Jared Allen getting a sack when the pocket collapsed and Henne ran right into him. It definitely wasn't Long's bad, but I don't know how that play is not counted as a sack against Long since he was 1-on-1 against Allen on that play.
