I offically do not hate this guy anymore. He's a Jet. I stopped hating him when he sacked Henne and did that dance that Jets fans saw A LOT. Anyways, Go JETS!

I'm in favor of a Rex Ryan move to Alaska.

Who wants to break it to the Jets fan that JT has said this about every coach he has ever had? JT is a classic love sucker. He falls in love with every coach he has ever had.

We got wise to it years ago, buy by all means, continue masturbating to his pictures if you must.

Funny what a move to your most hated rival will do.....

I remember defending his pretty boy looks by pointing out his top notch play on the field.

    Now he is just gay.

I don't hate JT at all. He is, and forever will be, a Dolphin great. But he is definitely an emotional, sensitive guy. If he was a teenager today, he would be cutting himself and writing poetry with the blood that poured out.

Five years from now what will Jets fans remember the most, all the times he took a leak on their team on and off the field over the years or one mediocre season in the twilight of his career with Rex Ryan?

I think everybody knows that players love Rex Ryan. Hell he's giving his team seven or eight days off in the middle of the season. I'd love him too.

Uggggg sounds like a sideline reporter story. I thought for sure he would have said something like "this is the worst coach I've ever played for" or "Rex is an assclown who I have no respect for".

Wake me when this thread is over.

I wonder who's on top when Rexy and JT get together for that special midnight 1 on 1 drill?

Lets put this into perspective shall we?

We get Penny and several good years, plus a GREAT mentor for Henne

They get an old, tired, used up DE/LB well after the twilight of his career.

I can live with that trade ANYDAY

A Dolphin great really? For me that legacy was tarnished and thrown away. He was a waste of time in 2009 and we actually waited a year too late to start rebuilding the OLB spot. When Taylor is retired a Dolphin and honored I will be booing.

Anybody who has watched football over the past decade and a half would obviously know that not only was JT a Dolphin great, he was one of the top defenders in the league over that timeframe. Tarnished legacy, what a joke. His legacy is no more tarnished than Thurman Thomas' was when he spent a season in Miami in the twilight of his career. I might believe your 2009 evaluation of his effectiveness if you weren't in another thread trying to convince people that Matt Roth is a real pass rushing threat. Maybe he meets your requirements for being a Dolphin great.

Same. The Jim Bates affair is really when Jason Taylor mentally resigned from the team. He hasn’t been the same guy since.

First, let me say this. Jason Taylor is a great person and football player. I do believe that. However, after his initial success, he has been treated with kid gloves, above the other players, speaking out for coaches who treat him as such. His being allowed to arrive late to practice for the Jets, etc., prove that he found what he was looking for, and didn't get it in Sparano. Preferential treatment always has a downside, though it may take some time for it to catch up with the team, this time it's the Jets.
We've all seen these types at workplaces, and eventually, it breaks a team down. Nothing is ever "fair," yet without even an attempt at providing an equilibrium of team "rules," a breakdown will ensue, eventually.

Probably the fact that a Jets troll is using a former Dolphins great as a way to stir up some more **** talking on this site

You are kidding, right? There is a reason why EVERYONE in the National Football League want to play for the New York Jets. 2010 started a dynasty that the Dolphins, Pats, AFC, and the entire NFC have to deal with. They're going to deal with a dynasty for the next 10 years, at least. I'm a proud fan of the cocky New York Jets. I'm a proud fan of our fat coach. I'm proud to be a New Yorker.

    You guys scared?

    Definitely.

Now see this is a reason why I get annoyed with Jets fans. Don't you think you ought to wait just a little while ...maybe wait until/unless the Jets win at least ONE Super Bowl before you call them a dynasty. Give me a break, please.

You do realize (of course you don't) that need in order to be a dynasty, you need to have actually won the championship. Not just once, or even twice. Numerous times.

But that's too simple. You don't really believe the Jets are a dynasty but for some reason you get off on attempting to piss the people on this site off.
